I have been trying to research good, new, low-cost coins to invest in. I have been trying to purchase a small amount each day on a new coin. My strategy is to HODL that coin until it reaches 300% growth and at that point convert 1/3(my initial investment) back into BTC.

After that point, I am only HODLing coins that were only collected with profit. This way if that coin goes back to zero I do not lose any actual money. I think it is really important to know what that coin is about and believe in that coin. If the coin never reaches 300% at least I know that I am trying to support whatever that coin is trying to accomplish and won't feel too bad about the loss. What are your thoughts on investing this way?

Any coin can go ahead or below, there is no guarantee of it; for example for some time Cashme cryptocurrency is gaining in thousands of percent; but it may drop too, holding for long term is long term investment.

You can keep checking the coin market to see the newly launched coins, when you study their white paper it will guide you on the type of coin that could rise easily.

Yeah thats a good strategy to risk only profits gained from any altcoin trading. There are many potential altcoins like NRG , Zen , Nano which i think is worth to invest

Nrg and Zen cryptocurrencies both have potential to reach $10 once again , actually they have once reached before. Now it's good time to buy them I guess

That's great, I tried adding either of the coins to my luno wallet but it is not compatible, I also have trust wallet which I will try if it is possible to add them.

Horizen and NRG is not there in trust wallet as well. For NRG , you should try their official wallet only. For Horizon , you can go for coinomi wallet to store

Actually coinomi wallet previously supported NRG but now NRG has migrated to gen 3. So you should use their official wallet

there is also Enjin wallet, it an erc -20 wlllet that support almost all coins, you should try it and see, it very secure and there is huge community and support for this company

it available both in android and ios , there is no web version at this time, maybe they will make a desktop version soon , you should check it out

The price has dropped again, this is few days to halving, I guess when the price of bitcoin hit $10k I will trade mine off. I will like to invest on Zen, Nano and ripple.

I received 100 NRG in december equal to $180 at the time of distribution. I sold them 2 days later for $240. Now the price of NRG is $3.30 that mean 100 NRG = $330

That's a great one and worth investing on my friend but I guess it may not be safe now probably after Bitcoin Halving when prices might have stabilize. What do you think

what I think: If the prices decrease after the halving, they will not lose more than 20%. If the prices increase, it can be a lot more than 20ù for the coming months. Also NRG Gen 3 was launched 1 or 2 months ago so NRG price will continue to grow.

Well, it is good to invest in it though the fact that it was recently launched is not a guarantee that will continue to grow, XRP also did something similar and it later dropped.

Ethereum is not a good alternative to invest now as a small cos it neither small nor a new coin, investing in very new coins could be very profitable cos they easily rise and it could be disastrous if the value doesn't rise over time , like investing on doge.
