Ethereum-based monster-battling sensation Axie Infinity has shown the potential for play-to-earn gaming, but the burgeoning business model may yield many more games, players, and crypto-fueled careers in the years to come. Crypto startup Rainmaker Games aims to provide the infrastructure and connective tissue to power the on-the-rise play-to-earn industry.

Today, Rainmaker revealed that it has raised a $6.5 million seed round to build out a platform around play-to-earn games. The only downside of Axie infinity is that it costs more than $1000 worth of ether just to enter the game minimum and hold at least three nfts which makes it a tough ask for every cryoto interested person but on the other hand

The downside here with axie infinity is the amount required by each player to enter playing, which is an off one for me. $1,000 is a huge amount of money for me, and it's way off my budget to invest in any gaming project even if it's real, because I don't have it, and I wouldn't push myself too hard to get it.

to be honest this is same with me ,I actually prefer game that are not costly for you to play and earn , the high amount is going to discourage a lot of people except there is going to be a different benefit attached to it ,but for now I would just look for others to check on ,there are some that even pay you to play

Correct. I got whole lot to do with $1,000 at the moment when I get the chance to secure it. Their is no need putting such funds into gaming whose profit isn't guaranteed long term. Anything can still happen and the company stops paying. Their are lots of crypto investments to invest in with such amount, and, it will yield better profit.

definitely there are jobs offline too ,that will make the person more money even with less efforts , even if the company stops paying the person would still have regret if it's not up to his expectations ,the only thing people play the games for is mostly for the passion they have for games that's it

Yes of course, offline got opportunities, it depends on what an individual wants to invest into. It is indeed a nice business idea but you have to look for a better location so that you will not blame yourself . Such business need a commercialised area to flourish. If it's located in an area that is not busy with cars, it will be very difficult to make money from it and it may amount to a colossal loss. You will quickly make profit if it's located in a commercialised or busy area.

The Axie Infinity Token has not been in a really great position as far as their token is concerned. Some news reports have also suggested that the coin is one of the worst performing assets in the cryptocurrency market right now. So, I reckon that it might not be worth investing or holding as of now.

I believe most of these gaming tokens are not getting investment Attraction , most people makes use of these token to earn and cash out , but only few would consider investing in them , some people focus are actually on only top coins , they believe gaming tokens are not worth it

This kind of games are only good for short period of time tho.. if they somehow reached 2 years it will be miracle lmao. Majority of them doesn't last more than 2 years.. it wasn't sustainable just like hyips.. they need investors lots of investors and players and if it doesn't sustain getting new players they go bankrupt

I still find difficult to believe that game lovers can pay $1000 to play virtual games. I can't imagine myself sending that much even if I will be making money with the games. Our world have revolutionized beyond proportion. If a company will pay millions of dollars to invest in play to earn games, surely there is money in the business

My advice is - one could try out these type of games if it doesn't involve investment, but if it has to do with investing certain amount of money, then you shouldn't try it out at all . These type of platform is not worth risking your assets on because it could vanish into the air at any point in time and you will have no one to hold responsible.

That is true.. i invested in one of these kind of games and it's was going well at first then the price of their token starts to go down.. from 12 dollars to now it's about 0.02 cents. Definitely a bad investment for me didn't get any cent back from my 350 usd investment

One of the best way to make money from such token is to liquidated immediately, but if you are trying to hold such crypto coin, you can lose all yhe the funds simply because it is not performing well.

It is better to stick to the token that will give you a huge profit and if you have such, it is possible to hold it for a long period of time.

It's really good to hold top token with values and not the ones with no value , the ones with great years back like Bitcoin , Litecoin and others , could actually boost or improve to expectations that would actually make people earn more money and profits in that regards

That was a huge loss! It is better to enjoy the game and earn by playing the games only and not by investment. Apart from the token declining steadily, most of the play to earn website are scams and it calls for necessary cautiousness. It will be a great thing to be extra careful.

Yeah it is.. so i learned my lessons there. I wouldn't do it anymore also it was kinda stressing to play because they are mostly idle which isn't very enjoyable.. there are games that are free to play and you can earn as well and also more enjoyable like mir4.. i will never invest in an NFT game again

The main issue with gaming projects is that they pay a low amount of cash. There are many gaming tokens listed on the coinmarketcap site and you can easily find them. However, the value of tokens plunge at so high rate that I really doubt that anyone would have been holding it for a long time.

They are only good for short period of time. If you're early investor you are lucky because you will get what you invested still.. but if it already has lots of players when you joined.. while those old players just continue to take and sell what they continue to earn.. the moment you should have enough to get back even half.. it's already doen in value. That's what happened to me.. there was an estimate roi and when i got it accumulated it's already gone -85 price

The major reason why the gaming tokens plummeted at a very high rate is lack of promotion. Marketing must be done on any new token to create awareness and to convince people to use it . Without proper marketing, I do not see any new crypto project developing at all.

I think that there must be some other reasons as well. The gaming industry is quite huge and I really doubt that promotion could be the only reason because many people love to play games and this field is expanding a lot. It might be possible that people might not be buying such kind of tokens and this is why the value is plumeting. @Potuse @Wisdom01
