Africa is not really doing bad in cryptocurrency transactions as according to a report from Digital analytics firm Chainalysis, the cryptocurrency market in Africa has experienced massive growth of 1,200% between July 2020 and June 2021. Africa currently has a larger share of overall retail transaction volume compared to the global average. Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and Tanzania recorded high crypto adoption in Africa. Crypto P2P platforms could be the driving factor for the massive growth. I think what we need now is getting more cryptocurrency technology advancement in our region.

Mostly teens who stroll around the internet know crypto, probably and some adults but some only know to read about it,but to know what it really is,how it operates and how to invest-this is what most people don't know. But irregardless of all I said I think crypto knowledge is penetrating Africa at a fast pace
Definitely, personally I have been hearing of Bitcoin since 2013 but as of that time I didn't really know how it works or what it was all about.

It was around 2019 that I started making research on how bitcoin works and how to make money from it because I heard some group of persons discussing it.

The enlightenment about cryptocurrency is undoubtedly moving at a fast pace in Africa.

In some of our radio stations a lot of people who are offering cryptocurrency mentorships are also advertising.

Bitcoin only went viral in 2019 because of lots of investors. And top companies choosing to invest in it and it allowed the market to flourish very fast to it's all time high but it is very saturated at the moment and therefore it can never be said that it will reach smoothly its all time high just like ot did before .

I think it was during the Corona virus pandemic era in 2020 Bitcoin skyrocketed.

The reason is because so many people put their money in cryptocurrencies because of the fear of the unknown.

There is no doubt that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would recover but it will take some time for that to be possible.

You are actually right the markets recovery will take time and you have to agree that the phase when bitcoin to the all time high was when most of people were at home so they had time to trade the assets they liked but now since things have normalized the people are back to work so the interest for Crypto trading has come down a lot as per to the reports

Therefore its not exactly the interest for crypto trading that has come down, but the time to trade it is now short as you say but the interest is still there.I think tthings getting back to normal means the market cap of crypto will lower a little bit and the those who have jobs will just hold their crypto in their wallets and not trade it.
At the same time, people who lost their jobs in Covid times may have come to crypto to find refuge

I guess that many African nations are pretty much still find the idea of trading in cryptocurrencies much appealing. According to recent data, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa are some of the countries that are ranked in the list of countries where cryptocurrencies are used the most, according to the studies and research conducted by Chainanalysis. This shows that Africa is certainly not behind other continents when it comes to cryptocurrency usage.

I like the days when bitcoin was moving around 5k -10k,it was those days that it had little manipulation from whales and the market was fair to every investor no matter their equity, now its just big pump and dumps and the Africans are getting to know crypto at a very bad time,I wish we knew it back then

Yes there has been alot of cryptocurrency liquidity in Africa because of not only the financial inclusion but also the potential investments and return of investment for staking and trading which has opened up more job creation at various levels.

Now the danger is the risk associated with this development such that if not lucky one can actually run into a very serious loss they can not easily recover from.

A lot of people never cared about the bitcoin and its usage when it was about $200 and they could have Bought millions of flats dollars at these days prices but it all depends on the destiny and ones choices and God's wish for a person , if he wants a person gets success from most difficult and tough ways , So that's the main thing be positive always and you can have success .

Well, the main issue is that Bitcoin's market depends a lot on how much money the capitalists pour into the market. Having said that, many capitalists have been investing in the market once again and this is why Bitcoin started to show support at some level. I am afraid that the market will experience another crash once again.

It definitely will experience another crash again in the future, its as they say"everything that goes up has to come down" and crypto markets will now experience detrimental market crashes now and just like the stock markets and the next time crypto investors have to be ready because the crypto markets hits big than the stock maket

Well, I do not think that that it will go down due to the "anything that rises goes down rule". I guess that there might be many reasons why the market might start trading in red. A couple of days ago Mike Wilson was claiming that market might crash. Now even Jim Rogers also anticipate the same fate of cryptocurrency market and stock market as well. This will happen due to high interest rates and inflation.

So are you saying that without inflation and interest rate hikes we would not be having a market cras?Remember what started the crypto market crash was TerraLuna and USt crash not inflation and interest rates, these two just added to the already plunging markets,a worsening effect although now they now look like they caused the crash fro the start

Am not surprised that this is the case in African countries. The poor state of things in Africa has pushed everyone into leveraging the power of the blockchain and this is something that has contributed to the growth of crypto market in Africa. We hope that the ongoing plans to regulate the crypto market in Africa will not be very disturbing and challanging for Africa investors. We hope and believe that the world will soon adopt cryptocurrency

I never said that an increase in interest rates is the only reason why the market could crash. Cryptocurrency crash depends on various factors such as negative attitudes of the capitalists, political unrest in many countries, war, global financial issues, unfavourable polices made by the government, taxation rates, etc. However, interest rates do play a major role when it comes to Bitcoin market.

The market can definitely crash again and if happens this time then the market is sure to fall under the 20k level ,, looking at the moment yhere is no stability in the market and it can start to fall big anytime and only the manipulators are taking advantage of the market actually .

I do not think that Bitcoin actually went viral during that time. Bitcoin was already gaining much popularity even before that and I can remember many sites started to accept bitcoin as a method of payment. However, Bitcoin gained a lots of popularity after 2015 when the market started to gain massive capital investments,.

Be honest that is the only reason why people are investing in cryptocurrency and various other bitcoin options as well because they have singing and Gain confidence from all of the larger investors however if they did have to change their mind it would significantly impact the cryptocurrency community and that is a very scary thought.
