Pewdiepie, who has the top subscribers count on youtube (106 millions) donated 100K USD to the lebanese red cross due to the recent huge explosion that it had.

That is quite philanthropic. It isn't all about been an influencer by mouth alone but been of help and influence to lives when there is need for it. I hope others emulate this magnanimous act.
there's another youtuber that does donations as well, he's known as Mrbeast, he once did a trees planting challenge when he planted ton of trees around

Wow , that's a good act of charity . I was sad seeing how the explosion destroyed many things in Lebanese , I hope the true cause has been ascertained.

I'll go look him up. It's really good to know that we have others who are selflessly giving back to their societies and the world at large.

This is a good gesture on his part and red Cross 8s one society I like to donate towards. Their activities are gear towards helping humsnity which is a good one and it needs people support

Yeah , what he has done will Forever be remembered in the world. It is good to have the spirit of giving out , especially in situations like that that affected Lebanon.

Not just giving to a society with a good cause to project.humanity needs all the support the world can offer and as such people should be encouraged with their good work

You are right. If everyone is ready to give a helping hand whenever and wherever it is needed, the world will be a better place for everyone.

True. We don't need to wait for those in authority to start before we can do ours. We need to start by those that are around us ,by this way we will be able to make the world better.

You are very right that is true if everyone has that type of mindset to offer the little they have to the less previledge then the world would have been a safer and better place,I want to start donating the little I have now to the less previledge its brings more blessing to the work of your hands and I have learn alot from this thread.

I knew it was him, the guy is awesome and real that's the kind of YouTuber that should be supported so they can give help to more people. Not those people who only loves to brag about their lavish lifestyle

Yeah, people sometimes forget that money they have is sometimes to help others. So it really good to make money but yeah it's a lot better to help others

Plus they will have more supporters when they do good deeds. But it seems like they don't really care about the changes tejy can make.

This is such a heartwarming story I'm surprised I'm only just seeing the thread. I have great respect for people like this influencer, who clearly did a whole lot more than some hideously rich people out there. The thing that annoys me about wealthy people (just a generalisation, so I don't mean ALL of them) is that they only help charitable causes if there's something in it for them  So kudos to Pewdiepie!!???

It's not often that we give back to our community, so that's magnanimous of him.

It must not necessarily be much, but such large scale donations go a long way and last far longer.

I have read an article about that popular YouTuber Pediepie and he is probably earning so much with his millions of subscribers. Whenever I would read about a generosity of a popular person I always feel that I can also do something like that in my own small way.

Well stated, this is what we need to tell ourselves. Start from where you are and be selfless. Giving is a virtue you should give and others would learn through your example
