The federal bureau of investigation FBI has arrested a social media influencer call jegara igbara also known as Jay Mazini.
The social media influential tricked people by telling them he will buy their Bitcoin at a higher rate within the range of 3 to 5% higher than the market price, this made a lot of people to be attracted to the deal they sending their coins and on a long run he will promise to send them payment and the prevent never comes. I tricked his followers by providing them fake photoshops off transaction to has done in the past to convince them to send their coins, this is according to the FBI assistant director in person of William F. Sweeney, Jr.

Those people needs adequate enlightenment , why would they fall for such deal at the beginning , it already look like a scam , just looking at it

We are human with different mentalities or reasoning also some people always look for easiest way to make money without considering the risk involved in it.

I cant even try this because giving out your bitcoin to an online random person is what you shouldn't try , the person can go offline with your money at anytime..

That serves him well, FBI should make sure he return all the bitcoin he collected from people and also make he face the wrought of the law.
Such scammers should be properly dealt with, so they can serve as examples go others. But do you believe he can return all the Bitcoin, and how will he even know the owners?

Wow, that is so unfortunate gor those who got scammed. The 3-5% above the market range promise is not so bad and no wonder people fell for it. It is not so high promise like the ones in hyips which people know as scams. But I am glad the scammer was found. I wonder why he risked that yet he is well known.

This is so wrong on all levels hope that he has been arrested. He should be made to pay for all the monies he has dubiously collected. This is just greed in display trying to make very fast money

This is also what I can't seem to understand. He should have known that by virtue of his popularity and the fact that social media connects the world, he would be tracked down so easily. What the heck was he thinking?

I have read many similar frauds in the markets before. I hope investors will not fall into such traps anymore, they should not give their assets to such scammers in the hope of a small profit.

There are something I won't believe and would not like to fall a victim. In this type of scenerio, I will deal with you with small amount of money to see if you can be trusted. You can't trust anyone when it comes to money. I sold some crypto currency to my church member, I gave him excess of what he requested for, I told him to pay for the extra. He never did, I just moved on. Telling me you will buy from me means you will pay me first.
This strategy is not bad but also be rest assured that some people try as much as possible to I make you very comfortable with them by responding as fast as possible to smaller volume the trade so that prompt you to do bigger deals with you then they scam
