❕NEWS A new leaked document shows that banks allowed criminals to launder huge amount of money

As per BBC, more than 2,500 banks documents, collectively called "FinCEN files," had been leaked to the public. The contents are shocking - those documents detail American banks suspicion about their clients that were sent to American financial authority for further investigation. First leaked on Buzzfeed news, the documents show that there are many suspicious transactions and accounts that may engaged in illegal activities during 2000 until 2017 financial years. The total transaction involved is about 2 trillion USD. And what did they do to stop all that illegal transactions? Nothing, banks in fact are helping criminals.

This is definitely not so surprising. The banks here only focus on their financial targets with no regards for the sources of such funds. When they are not turning a blind eye, they are aiding and abetting criminals.
That is it...it is not surprising neither is it a shock... All they want is to meet target for the months or even years...so they tend to encourage them to perform more ...

Banks are the number one criminals...all in the name of getting to a target set..then tend to collect that huge amount from criminals...but when a normal person goes there to deposit small donation they start asking unnecessary questions...

Those who commit cyber crimes through impersonation and other methods use some banks to get their funds and I keep wondering why they are not pegged for fraud by those banks who claim that provided there is an evidence that the money was theirs, nothing else could be done.

I also said this in another thread. These banks harbor criminals because of their huge deposits. They help in washing those funds through legit organisations.
They give criminals a safe haven to operate freely without being suspected. This act is putting their reputation at stake and they have to do something about it.

I think they're more preoccupied with how to keep the gigantic deposits from this criminals safe than their reputation. I think only a sanction from the regulatory body can reset them
That should be done as soon as possible because, they may reap off many people money before things get in place. It's bad that we can't even trust them with our funds anymore.

it is bittertruth. this is bad news. rich people who commit crimes will casually save and enjoy their money. but petty criminals will be chased and caught by police

You are right. The rich thieves are easily covered by corrupt bank managers in a way that is hard to detect their ill activities. The police would now go against those who do not have money to get their activities covered.

True most times banks get percentage of these stolen money in order to keep silence . It is unfortunate that we trust banks with our funds yet they don't do much to protect it. This is why I will always love cryptocurrency

Criminality is everywhere now banks and other financial institutions inclusive. I wish the Apex bank will try to fight this to kick criminals out

That is why there needs to be a form of protest that would make sure things are put in place or else they will continue to linger, thus causing problem to the common man

in my country, online people power, when something goes viral, will get more attraction by the govet and then they gonna do something to fix it to satisfy the public

LOL, protest won't work. Most governments will simply quell it since most of them are siding with the rich and powerful, never about regular folks.

yes, sometimes people power is useless when the big businessmen who are behind the scenes of politicians are being challenged. but if the government doesn't listen, then they can get into trouble later

The Apex bank may be able to fight these but on the other hand, the smaller banks are put on their toes under pressure from the Apex bank when targets are needed to be met. This could also be one reason for such banks siding with criminals, all to get their money into the system.

I totally agree with you, the whole system just need to checkmate all these issues collectively, so that there will be no loopholes for criminals. I hope they realize this.

Unless the government is also corrupted and in those rich peps' deep pocket.

Like the current situation in Belarus.
Its horrible. Just back in 1998, it was a turning point for country. People power succeeded to force our 32years presiding president. Since that, president is elected directly by people and only for two terms
