My Experience.

I think more better method for increase earnings is use adblock detector code. I do this today, now i need monitor to see if it made any difference

I think it's because of their new terms of service, accounts are automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity.
The problem is they didn't send any email notifying users of such change, nor do they send any reminder to login in order to prevent the deletion.

Their ads are good but cpm rates have been low particularly for people having asian traffic until they allow 18* AND GAMbling ads that increase the cpm slightly better and it is how things work out actually because most of the times people who are earning very small amount need to tweak things to earn better income.
