Hey guys! If you're looking around for free VPS' I'd stay away from anything with Jelly in it. They're super scammy and just keep you putting out referrals for no VPS in the end of all your work getting them attention! Stay away!

Their website looks kinda professional but it is definitely a scam. My friend has registered and experienced their bad service. Stay away from 'jelly web hosts'.

I don't see anything wrong with their business model. Basically, they are attracting you with the free offer, which comes via a referral from someone else. Next, they offer a stronger free hosting plan when you refer the service to yet another person. Can anyone tell me exactly how they are scamming people? Anyhow, I'm wondering how they make money, though. Can someone clue me in? :rolleyes:

By the way, note that some consider referrals to be the best form of advertising cause it's word of mouth and more personal. Therefore, it's no wonder they emphasize referrals in their marketing.
