It is true there are thousands of cryptocurrencies but the most recognized and the one that everyone wants is bitcoin, if these foundations prefer BTC they are grateful for their trust.

I support your opinion on this because crypto currencies transactions are annonymous and we have high number of hackers whose wealth are stolen coin.
