It's quite astonishing to see how cheap it is to transfer huge amounts of bitcoin with such low transaction fees. Whale Alert recorded a transaction where 47,452BTC ($414M) were withdrawn from Bittrex and the total fee for the withdrawal was a mere $0.68. It's mainly because of bitcoin's new network SegWit which is working to reduce costs significantly.

Compare that to this Paypal fee :Arghh:

If you don't mind my question Mr. B, I'd like to ask to which country you send that money and your country of residence, since Paypal fee works differently for each country.
This is money received not sent, I don't remember who sent me those but one thing is clear, Paypal fee is insane.

Bitcoin regardless the transaction is far better than PayPal fee. Two things determine low fee transactions for bitcoin, the network load, priority and also the amount involved.

this is why bitcoin is getting bigger and bigger
If this amount was transfered from a bank account to other bank account you can imagine how much you can lose haha

That's a huge amount of money, people are really involved in bitcoin transactions big time. The crypto market is growing much stronger on daily basis.

Well i dont know exactly maybe this is a new system that they have introduced or what but yes last time I checked it was high but wait now I get it. The thing is that the fee for Bitcoin is fixed regardless the total amount whereas other services charge per dollar

That time btc fees was low or maybe there was not much network congestion , and also with lower bitcoin price , it was possible to send huge btc with minimum fees.

That is possible in case of bitcoin that such huge amount get transferred for such low fees. But I am sure the transaction would have taken a long time to be confirmed. I also once sent BTC money with a fee of just 2 sat/byte. It got confirmed after 3 weeks.
