They do not allow vpn to protect their sites for double accounts. Some says other faucets allow vpn, those that is not too strict. But to be safe, just use regular ip :)

However, you still received advertising revenue based on the hours of work that users put into their balances below 60K, so to discount these people's time I think is wrong.

To put it simply, deleting sub 60K balances whilst still receiving ad revenues from them (Including my own 48K) is wrong.

Compare your own solution to forumcoin, and their three ether faucets which were set at 750,000 minimum ether withdrawal limits. They have also announced they will close all three faucets recently, but have given a closure date of 31st January 2018 to achieve that number.

1Katoshi closed almost overnight. It's hardly a PR success is it?

After that we saw that there are more than 300 payments to do, all with more than 60k satoshi, so we though that resetting and restarting would be better instead of making the users wait 1 year for a payment.

We did the reset when we discovered that in just 1 day the total amount of claims is equal to more than 3 million satoshi.

Which is a pitfall of running a faucet isn't it?

Unless you pre-empt the amount of traffic that you are going to get Vs the funds you will receive in ad revenue, then you will end up with a failed faucet and upset users who have wasted their time and effort, and more importantly will never return.

As well as this the name of 1Katoshi will be saddled with a bad image, so no matter how you rejig the payments system from that point going forward it's still 1Katoshi with a blemished reputation. PR and brand ID are everything, ask Enron, Tylenol, BP, or Volkswagen, and that's not to mention the time and effort of the owners of those brands taking time out to justify their decisions in congress, courtrooms, or even on the beer money forum.

The problem now of the site is too many pending withdrawals. As of now, there are 1022 pending. My request for withdrawal is now in position 24. Last time, it was 60. Payout is not instant and you need to wait for days or weeks. Hoping that I can get my payment soon.
