Hi Beer Money Forum,
I've been looking for a forum to hang out in because I don't feel like Reddit provides enough of a community feeling. Glad to have found this site.
Really tired of working doing something I don't love doing so I've decided to go big. I think having too small goals and trying to make beer money wasn't motivating. Beer money is cool, but if it takes months to make it, it kind of loses its allure to me.
So what can I do to make over $100,00 per year? I don't have disposable income to try a dropshipping store, but I know how to make websites. Problem is, finding clients takes long, then negotiating, then developing. At most I've made $2,000 in a month from web development so that's not going to work either.
However, what I do know how to do is create Google My Business (GMB) listings using phone verifications. While most people have to verify their business location by getting a postcard in the mail, I know how to just do it by phone. This means I can create listings around North America. From there on, I just need to get those listings on top of Google Maps and rent them out to businesses. I want the average to be $500 per month that I receive from clients.
This is just an example for me, but I think anyone can come up with an idea on how to make $100,000+ per year. I just did the math. I calculated $100,000 and divided it by 12 months because I wanted to sell a monthly service. That's $8,333.33 that I need to make per month. So if I have a service I can sell for $500 per month, I'll need 17 clients to cross that point.
17 doesn't seem like a big number at all. So I'm going for 20 within the first 3 months to get $10,000 per month.
Please don't ask me for this method. You won't see it posted anywhere because nobody wants to release it. I saw someone sell it for $20,000 once on another forum because you can make a lot of money with it. I happened to figure it out while doing some reverse engineering of the old method that was patched.
This post is to keep myself accountable, but also may help bring attention to others to do the math to see what service they can come up with to make however much money they want to make.
Progress so far:
1 client with 5 listings = $2,500
2 clients on free month trial = $0
