❓ASK 10 000 Bitcoins for a Pizza ( 2010 )

In year of 2010 a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz successfully traded
10 000 bitcoins for a pizza.

That amount of BTC is worth 38 000 000 $ right now.

Any comments folks :D ?

I think that pizza can enter in the Guinness Record Books as the most expensive pizza on the Earth...If it is true...

NO body knew that bitcoin could rise to such an amount. Even now we don't know which coin will be the most expensive in future. HE was a lucky guy. I hope he didn't sell all those bitcoins to anyone.

If we start earning bitcoin in its level of around $10 to $20 something, as we imagine each day we can earn 2 bitcoin per day that time, then it means that at that time
we can earn $2*4000 =$8000 per day for this moment.
Interesting counting how much Bitcoins can we earn per day;).But it is something like daydreaming...How it is possible to earn that much in a day?Maybe a few persons do(millionaires)...

Apparently it was for 2 pizza's (if that really makes much difference now lol).

Would love to know how things have panned out where the coins are now, if they were sold or not.

Bitcoin Pizza Day
To commemorate the transaction, May 22 is dubbed Bitcoin Pizza Day. Pizza providers worldwide offer discounts to bitcoin users to commemorate laszlo's purchase.

I wonder ... what was the guy thinking after he saw the BTC price after few years.... He probably was upset. Honestly I would be satisfied with the pizza :p Pizza is my fav food so...

I am sure he is hitting his head against the wall and is thinking "WHY THE F DID I EVEN BOTHER SPENDING BITCOINS , I COULD HAVE GONE WITH SOME CASH AND SAVE THE BITCOINS" :d :d :D:BTC::D

You are right. It would be excellent to know some things from the future.I am sure hw would have spent $100 for those pizzas than to spend that huge amount of Bitcoins, which could have made him millionaire today.

That's not true! He ended up not buying any pizza with those btc. proof - https://https://www.beermoneyforum.com//index.php?topic=137.0

For sure the guy was sad after knowing that the bitcoin will boost its currency in the present year anyone can do mistake but after those mistake we make we will do hardwork for us not to do thesame mistake again

And BTC is $41 at that time according to the comment I have read on bitcointalk. And look at it now! From the small amount to huge conversion rate. Of course it was not that huge during his time. If I was able to predict that it will go up, I would have kept the 10,000 bitcoin.

It seems to me,that after all,Laszlo ordered the pizzas...I mean using hos words,he traded the Bitcoins for pizzas...Anyway,happened a long time ago...let's get over it...He was saying that he could generate thousands of btc per day...so ,if he really could do that, surely he saved several thousand of btc too...;)

ahah very interesting thing u did there buddy :p We would have been rich all of us lol... Even though being rich for some people doesnt mean having money ^^ Thanks for calculating though :p

Saving for raining day is just the best way to make wealth and state secure financially. His record may be hard to break for now
I think,on those years,it was easier to mine Bitcoin,or to find other methods to earn Bitcoins. This is my conclusion, after reading, that Laszlo how many Bitcoins had.He even didn't take it very seriously the Bitcoin.Maybe because his price wasn't so high as it is today.Nowadays, surely nobody would give Bitcoins for a pizza:Smile:

No one knows now where those bitcoins went :D He had no idea the price would rise this much.It must be hard for him right now or maybe he doesn't regret it because he ate a wonderful pizza? Who knows :p Some people say, whats done is done.
