They paid users some amounts as well before starting to scam out users ..according to reports

A similar incident that made a smaller but similar situation happened just an year ago

This is a very grave incident. Such incidents are a bigger blow to new startups rather than the established players as people would not trust new incumbents after such cases immediately.

Those scammers hidden under the umbrella of those legitimately social media platforms should be spotted and the wrath of the law should take immediate action around those set of criminals in order to reduce crypto scam. They are simply running Ponzi scheme, and using investors money to enrich themselves.

This is one of the disadvantages of social media. To be honest, not everybody is bound to use social media. There are some people that are just gullible and believe whatever they are told making it easier for the scammers to dupe them. I can imagine someone lost this huge sun of money because of ignorance.

This activity sounds like how a typical hyip site would work , though i guess majority of the Facebook population barely knows about this and that's why they easily trust it with their funds and they got easily scammed. In today's time where crypto is already almost anywhere people should atleast have already ample knowledge about it too avoid being scammed online

i thought I was the only person that have noticed the increased rate by which people want to buy old Facebook account. I was wondering what they could be using the account for just to find out they are used for dubious ventures. I think Facebook needs to look into all the scamming things happening on Facebook and ban these accounts even thoug they are old accounts.

Thats what they normally do, they would pay the first set of persons not cause they want to but simply to attract others in joining. By the time others see that they are really paying, they would also want to invest. By the time they have gotten their target, that's when they disappear. Has any plans been put in motion to catch the culprits or is this going to be another cold case.

You are right that's how it starts usually its same like hyips and you have to undersand the plot behind the scheme else you do a goal against you to be honest actually as they are clever people tbh

I do not see any environmental friendly approach in the move made by apple. Afterall, we all needed chargers to power our phones. Selling the charger separately is a strategy to maximise profits. I would suggest that they Increase the amount of money they sell the phones rather than selling the chargers separately.

The reason why people are angry is this, the cost of apple products is already expensive as it is right now, especially for does of us in Africa countries, now imagine paying all that and not get a charger inside? Then you will have to buy a charger separately for God knows how much. Like you said they did this with the aim of making more money. If this is not the case then they should reduce the price of the phone.

I really hope they are caught , people should be more enlightened about crypto scams ,atleast we should let them know about the new scams and others , because of the way things are going ,I wish there could be more non government organization formed for this , because people really need to be well enlightened tho

Apple still has many weaknesses in their systems that can be exploited by hackers and scammers. And since they have a pretty sizeable user base, a scam or a virus can be easily spread from one point to another. They really should pay more people to fix the weaknesses, and prevent abuses from happening on their own platform.

The government have bodies that are responsible for treating scam on all cylinders. In Western world like USA or U.K, they have the FBI, Metropolitan police, they look into scam even in online activities. So, if more attention will be look critically into online, it will help curb it's excessive level of scam.

that's the truth , I think most traders actually make more loss because of too much greed , they are always willing to make more than they could earn and this lead to more troubles and loss for the person , that's something I have noticed about trading
