I have never been on hubpages. Sorry. I just tried this article site to see if you can sell articles or not. I basically write for a set of clients, do websites, and recover hard drives. Now that this site isn't paying you can try going to MyLot and they do pay, but the pay isn't as good as here.
You are right. MyLot is a very slow earning site and it takes a lot of work to write, answer, and read other people's posts. Therefore, it is not a very beneficial site if you're looking to earn a passive income.
I also added a few articles to this site. I personally, don't think they will ever sell. I don't see much activity on the site and I don't see many people selling either. Oh well as a new site they had potential, but I guess they aren't using it to attract buyers.
I think this site basically is for article you have lying around that you wrote and were rejected by another company. I tried a few articles I wrote once and never submitted or used. The site just adds them there and if by chance a person stumbles upon this and buy it then you make money. I wouldn't write a ton of article and put them up there for sale it would be too much work and no money in return.
I've seen proof of payment and I think it was on some FB page where people talk about online jobs and prove they have been paid. The sales of the articles is very low so you actually don't make much for selling your work on the site. I believe the site sells them for $5 each, but I'd have to check to make sure this one is correct.
I hope you can able to sell them there. I find it hard and I would appreciate more if I can write for a website and they pay me and after they can sell the article.
There was one listed here on the forum. It had to do with any old school essays you had lying around. You upload them to the site and they buy them from you. But this takes time and I believe they only pay $2 an essay. But it is better than nothing at all.
The only time you can get paid from this site is when one of your articles actually sells. I know one person was talking about selling some on this site at one time. But he never proved he actually did sell them or not. Many thought he was just talking and it wasn't true.
That is excellent - what site did you sell it on? I think that anytime you can sell anything online it is fantastic. I'm glad that you found a good site to sell on and I hope that you can sell a few more.
