Swagbucks has been online for 10 years and in February celebrated their anniversary with the opening of a brand new game app called Swag IQ. The site has a mobile app that you can download from the Google Play Store or the App Store. You can install this on your smartphone or other mobile devices to access the website. Unfortunately, this site is for US residence and if you try to register with the site using a VPN the site will ban your account. I did find some information that people who live in India can join this site. However, I can't find the site or any information on how they can join. The only indications about joining this site are for US residents only.


How To Join SwagBucks :
  • Go to the website and create your account.
  • You can also use Facebook to register with the site.
  • If you use your email address, you'll need to verify your account.
  • Once your account is created, you'll need to fill in your profile. This means that you'll be required to choose a username for the site and upload an avatar. Fill in all the other information so the site can send you surveys.
  • The system the site uses is a point system called Swag Bucks or SB points.
How to Earn SB Points on SwagBucks:

Swag IQ: This is a new app for trivia. Download this and install it on your mobile device. You'll earn points answering trivia questions. If you are lucky and can answer all the questions you'll have a chance to win $10,000 from the app.

Swagbucks Answers: This is the place where you can take surveys. The surveys will earn you 1 to 1000 SB points.

Swagbucks Search Engine: This is powered by Yahoo and you can earn points through the search engine. The points are determined by how often you use the search engine and not by how many searches you make. Normally you can earn 1 to 4 SB for searching online. Many times it is a lot more if you use this daily.

Referral Program: When you refer a person to the site, you'll earn 10% bonus n your account for the number of SB points they earn on the site. If the person earns 1000 points, you'll earn an extra 100 SB points.

Cash Back: Shop online using Swagbucks and earn up to 20% SB points. One way to increase the points you earn is to shop using the gift cards you've earned from the site. This will give you added SB points in your account.

Swagbutton: Download this and install it on any browser. When you watch TV using the button, you'll earn points in your account.

Swagbucks Watch: Another way to earn 1 to 4 SB points is to watch the 30 seconds to 2 minutes videos on the website. You can earn up to $5 a day watching videos.

Trial Offers: This is where you can actually earn quite a bit of SB points. You just need to be careful to cancel the offers after one month. Otherwise, they will charge your credit card.

Games: Play a few of the games on the site and earn SB points.

Hourly Random Winner: If you see your username and avatar on the site, click on it quickly. The site will credit points to your account. Every hour they display a new username and avatar.

Daily Goal: The site keeps track of your points and has a daily goal. If you meet this goal, you'll earn a 10% bonus in your account.

Redeem SB Points from SwagBucks:

You can redeem your points for gift cards. It will take 500 SB points for a $5 gift card. However, if you save up your points you can get a $25 gift card for just 2250 points.

I love Swagbucks because I have an easy time getting points to do cashouts. I do a couple surveys each day and you get a point even if you do not qualify. I also get a lot of points for doing searches through their portal because I do a ton of research for various things online. I also have the Swag TV app on my phone and rack up points doing the viewing tasks. I usually cash out $10 in gift cards each month and save them until I have online shopping to do.

I never really seemed to gain much from this and it seems you need to give too much personal information to earn anything. I see that people do have success but I never see how they do it. Some people tell me to make up the information but then I don't get accepted for points. It's most difficult when you don't live in the United States.

Swagbucks has be the worst site to take surveys, they either disqualify in the middle or till the end of the survey, or the offer or the survey will not credit, and you have to submit a ticket every single time with proof.

I use to do SwagBucks quite a bit,but now not so much,although I do have the App on my phone,and use it to search once in awhile. I would do the videos and search,and then cash out with a 5 dollar Amazon or Walmart card. I would actually use this site for buying groceries,In a indirect way of course. I would get two Walmart cards(more like a coupon code) from Swagbucks,and then I would buy a physical gift card on Walmart.com,and they would send the card in a few days(shipping included). That way you shop with actual card at Walmart,and buy wine or groceries,or whatever!

While there are other things to do on this site, you can also use this one as a paid to surf site. If you make it your default, you can earn some extra SB to help you cash in faster.

Start searching via Swagbucks. Might as well make money for something you will be doing anyway.

Wow.

I joined swagbucks just to check it out. I connected a credit card and a few accounts like my Hotels.com account. One business trip later and I had enough for a $50 amazon gift certificate. And that's without actually doing anything at all. no surveys or watching ads etc. It just gave me rewards credits for purchases I would have made anyway and didn't even realize came with swagbucks rewards. better yet, work paid for all for the direct costs from the trip so I was out zero actual money (my work permits employees to sign up for and keep credits from any and all rewards programs). So yeah.... I'm pretty happy.

I know that many people are earning real well on swagbucks. But unfortunately it is not for Indian citizens. Most of the surveys and offers are not for Indians. But I earn one swagbuck daily only by completing a daily poll. I know it is real slow but I have no other option. Are there any other ways of earning there?

I joined Swagbucks and enjoyed it for a while but the points system has deteriorated quite a lot since I first joined so it is harder to earn. I belong to the UK site but in my opinion they set the daily goals too high. They are the same as in the US only they have more earning opportunities. There was some talk of changing all that but it has never happened.

I am good at searching for new methods of earning online. I like to try new sites that are legit so as to add on my beer money. So I came across this site calling itself Swagbucks. Usually, when I find a new site, I do an extensive research on its reviews to determine whether it's legit. After reading a couple of reviews, I came to a conclusion that Swagbucks is legit. One would earn points from doing surveys, surfing the internet and even redeeming codes. Points would be used to purchase goods at online stores like Amazon.com. One could also request payment through PayPal. However, one thing that turned me off was that it was not available in my country when I tried to register. Is it a legit site? How long does it take one to have a meaningful amount?

Swagbucks is one site that when I heard about it newly the many tasks that can be done and the pay I was highly interested in working at the site. To my disappointment when I was about signing up I gathered it wasn't available in my country. I hope this geographic limitation is removed soon or some day.

If you want to do online shopping through their partners and spend $25 you get a bonus $2 for a total of $5.

I cash out $25 via paypal every 2 weeks. I spend maybe 15 active minutes on the site per day.

Swagbucks is absolutely legitimate and it has been on the business fomany years now. My problem with SwagBucks? I cannot join because I don't live in countries where it is available. Someone suggested to use VPN but I don't want to earn that way.

Most of these sites will detect a vpn and block the site server side. Earnhoney and Earnably do this. While SB and PR dont some of the survey companies do. Your surveys will ban you outright if you use a vpn

Swagbucks is such a great earning online site. I would also love to join there unfortunately, it is not available in our country as well. I used mylot.com for almost two months but I am not happy anymore there.
