What is Chatango?
Chatango is a live group for websites in which it is clean conversation because it supports auto-moderation; it blends into any website as box, compact ticker, and tab formats and fully customizable; fast even on larger sites because you can set limits per user to keep large groups readable; works on all devices such as mobile/tablets, desktop and laptop; and most of all it's free because chatters will usually buy message backgrounds and smileys. They seriously needed a logo.
How It Looks Like?
It comes in box, ticker and as a tab.
My own Chatbox:
My own chatbox was created way back when flash was in and trending, now its not displaying because I've removed flash on my browser, but now it has evolved to html 5 so you can only see chatters when you enable flash on your browser. It's weblord.chatango.com
Technical Specifications:
They got their domain name from networksolutions and got most probably a dedicated server as hosting. They also have an android app just in case you want non-stop chat with your website visitors, chat with them wherever you are.
PROS and CONS:
PROS:
- Nowadays website are interactive and visitors want to chat with customers gone are the days where they reach for an email to contact.
- It's simple, design WYSWYG - What You See What You Get interface and then deploy by putting a line of code on your website.
CONS:
- I can't think of anything right now.
