Do you use YouTube for Promotion? Did it help you with promotion/advertising? Personally, I made a promotional video for my last website that I owned.

Yes, this is how we're doing so far with our YouTube marketing.
I would say we're doing pretty good! This is last 30 days stats.

I think youtube's card feature can bring a lot of traffic. If used right you can definitely bring the traffic. But the issue is the first time people bring in the traffic. It'd not be easier to bring the people to your channel. i guess collabing with others and trying to bring the traffic would be the only option in this case. I think social media channel to youtube and youtube to your website can be good funnel.

I was searching for free youtube streaming webcam overlays, and I've seen many channels simply making top5 webcam overlays for youtube, top10 overlays for twitch and I was very impressed by the numbers of subscribers and views such channel can get. Gotta try one of these compilations on my channel soon. :Greedy

Youtube promotion is a good way to use. If you are an affiliate marketer. I have done this for some of the products and i always get people to buy the products. In you tube, its very easy because it doesnt mater how many subscribers you have. Just give the video an atractive heading and thumbnail and people will view. Furthermore,its a way of double earning if you monetise your videos with adsense.

You Tube is a great way to promote your business. I am usually making some short videos about sites that I am working on for my referrals and always somebody see the video on the You Tube. That is how I get more referrals.

Did you start making the compilation ? Im curious how it will work for you . Seems like a really good idea and its very brave of you to share it . I mean many people can decide to make it in front of you . Let me know what happened with the idea

No, I haven't yet, I'm very busy, I try to upload almost daily one video on Beer Money Forum YouTube Channel.
So uploading "top 5 overlays" etc videos must be extra work, will update you with the result in a month or 2. :Thumbsup:

Youtube video promotion is good way to advertise your websites. Many people earn a lot by promoting clickbank products on youtube. If you can do SEO you can get views on youtube videos which mean more leads or traffic to your site.

Certainly,Youtube is a good social sharing site,one can get good views to one's site or get people to buy through their affiliate links inserted into their channel or even advertise their personal products and services to gain clients and customers to make profit.I believe promotional activity of Youube is not a waste.

I think if the right set of the tags are being used. It can be possible that you can use the youtube for the promotion. I have seen people also making use of the youtube sidebar placement and also featuring other channels and their videos. This way the traffic can be achieved. One thing I do have learned that it can be pretty difficult to increase the subscribers some times.
