Owning a business with a partner

I prefer to have business with my own. Base on my experiences it is not too good having business partner. If incase you lack for capital and no choice need business partner make sure that you can hands on your business.

I will only go for partnership if the my partner will also be my partner in life. I think it would be better that way since all of our decisions will match and for the best of our future.

You might be right about it.I have read many times, businesses are run in the family. There are restaurant owners, who are related to each other.I think this is the best thing for the business,if it is run by a family.

The advantage of running a business with you partner (wife or husband), is that bith of goals are set for the future of each other. Now, talking about restaurant, if you will run that kind of business with your family, your gonna save a lot since you dont have to pay for salary.

Correct. The profit is shared within the family, and I think the most important thing that there is trust.Even if there are some different opinions about how to run the business,it can be talked through.

Managing a certain business on your own, might be a little bit stressfull since all of the work load is on your back. This sometimes leads to somedelays in terms of updating business modules. But if you have a business partner, trust me, none of the above can happen since you split the management responsibilities equally hence being more than successful!!

id rather own a business myself for example if i had an argument with my partner the company was succesfully the last thing I would want to do is sell the business if it is doing well and I wouldn't to split it either if I put most the work in. dont get me wrong, having a parner can reduce tasks and workload but you have to balance it up, if workload is getting to much hire a staff team, and get help from family and friends. There are a lot of factors you have to consider when making decision if you are going to team with someone to create a company.

You can build a successful business even by yourself,if you have all the necessary things to start a business. If you don't have experience, important skills and financial resources you definitely need a business partner. It is important though before to make all the plans and talk about every aspects of the business, before forming a partnership with somebody.

I think if my business is not big then I might do it or supervise it on my own since it may be expensive to hire somebody to help you not unless it is a big companies with many branches.

Honestly, owning Your Own business without a partner is much more better. There would always be misunderstanding at some point. One of you will feel cheated because of human nature.

I once had a business partner but it didn't work. i thought it would because he was a friend but trust me when i say "don't try it"
there was a lot of misunderstanding and so we had to go separate ways.

It kinda very good and information sharing is always a great thing that makes people to succeed though it also has it bitter part especially if your partner is not reliable and zealous. It also depends on the size of the business you may be interested in

Before starting a partnership with somebody, it is important to know, what each partner is contributing to the business and what are the expectations of each partner in what regards the profit and the ownership. It is recommended to make a detailed contract about those aspects too.

I think having partner can reduce your tasks. And also helps you establish yourself in much better light. You can think of your own task in this case. Also you can get your business done with a proper partnership. I can tell you that some of the time partnership requires more efforts too. So I think delegating the work with partners is lot better option. And you can do that pretty effectively too. Just make sure you start somewhere and build from there.
for sure it makes your task easier and when you have resourceful and active partner in a business such business progress rapidly but the challenge is getting a reliable partner who will not be influenced by external factors in the course of building the business

Advantage in making partnership is that you can share responsibilities too.Every partner has his own ideas about the business, the more ideas, the more possibilities for the business to grow.I think this might be a great advantage over owning you alone a business.

i think it depends on the situation and ofcourse to the partner you will choose. if you cant decide on your own, then having a partner will help you and also with the capital, you dont need to shoulder all the expenses when starting a business, but if you like to decide on your own, then having a partner will give a conflict coz there always a possibility that your decision is different to his or her decision.

This is more like dealing with both sides of a coin, to an extent lots of people here have share views with justifiable reasons. The fact is that it is good and sweet to own business single handedly though not easy and the same time businesses that are efficiently Co owned do progress faster

It's hard to have partnership with friends, especially when only two partners, you will fee like who is contributing more toward the business. I failed in a partnership business before, thus I agree with my friend, only your wife/hubby can be your good partner no others, because no one is willing to scarify for you.

As much as it is hard to partner, getting a good or partner is totally dependent on your set agenda s cos even hubby/wifey could be very bad or weak to partner with. Partner is nice and interesting if you have good one and it rare to.
