I noticed some threads attract a lot of trash posts and literally the genuine reviews are hard to spot.

I was thinking first to decrease again the number of posts or decrease the earning rates but that will affect the entire community.

At this point, all threads that attract trash content will be closed and I will start looking closely at members name that spread trash posts instead of genuine reviews.

I will start making a list and these members that post trash content will be excluded from our rewarding program.

Any ideas will be welcome! WEe all want to keep the health of the community. Thanks!

What should I do?
- close threads that attract trash?
- ban members that post trash?
- decrease earning rates
- decrease posting limit
- other idea?

I like the idea of adding names here so people will understand you mean business. This has gone on for long enough and it is time to clean up or get out. I'm not so sure it will hurt them that badly because they will still go to the marketplace to find work there. It is sad because I wanted to help people out and posted a job and some of the people on your list did the job and made a major mess of it. I had to close my job. I doubt if I'll ever try again in the marketplace to open another job. Unless I do like you and list people who can't work on the job for me. This one might work.

Listing name in public should scare others from following in these people's footsteps. You have given perfect examples of trash and crappy posts so let us hope others will follow and take care to do a better job of helping the community.

Yeah, I just looked at that a few minutes ago, why were people finding it so hard to understand? The instructions were clear and it would not have been hard at all.

No clue at all. But nobody can follow simple instructions. I was very clear and wrote it out in plain English. When I said Like + Follow all they could do was like. Even on Twitter to like and Re-tweet they couldn't even do this one either. I give up totally now. In my last job I paid out 50 coins for following and 1 like. They get paid and 2 days later unfollow the site. So what I am an idiot for paying for this work and they get their money and run. What got me was the fact that they all shared the same post. There is 195 posts on the page they can share. But no it is so easy to grab the first one and share it. Like they don't care how bad it looks for me and trying to promote a brand new website.

Update list of warned members sharing trash / non-helpful posts.
On your next valid report, I will remove you from our rewarding system.

I would like to thank you, everyone, that is helping clean the forum and maintain the health of the community.
Keep reporting all new non-helpful posts. I will check them out and take action against all members that drag us down.

This list is helping some, but still there are trash posts popping up daily. If the person is excluded from the earning program on the site does that mean they will also be excluded from the marketplace? It seems that excluding them only from earning points posting won't be enough. They can still go to the marketplace and earn quite a bit of money there completing the tasks. They do a bad job at completing the tasks and following instructions.

Second question: If the person is excluded from earning money and can come back to post on the site. Can they regain their paid status if they can prove they have changed and can now post useful comments that will benefit the community? Or is your warning to these people their second chance to change the way they comment? I would understand this as their second chance to redeem themselves on here and change the way they post to be more helpful to the community.

One last suggestions: I see a few new members popping up lately. They seem to follow the same habit of short trash posts when they first join. Wouldn't it be wise if you had something they had to read and acknowledge before they were allowed to post on the site. I know you have created a new site rules. If they were made to read these rules before posting, this could stop a lot of the trash and spam posts a new person posts on here. I understand the post is locked because you don't need a lot of comments on this. But they could acknowledge they have read the rules in a new comers post or sending a PM to you. I know that a PM would be a bit much and not something you'd like to deal with. Maybe just a single post only for a new comer. They had to go there first, read a small statement - go to read the rules - come back and say that they agree to the rules to follow them. That would be simple and easy so when they broke the rules you can indicate that they read them and agreed to follow them. Just an idea.

I was going to ask the same question.

Will users removed from the rewards program be removed permanently or will they have a second chance if they start posting useful posts again? What will stop the users from creating new accounts once they're removed? If they create a new account and use a new identity after being removed, they will be included in the rewards program again...

If they create a new identity, but don't change how they were posting, the same thing will happen to them again. Mr B might be forced to make a $5 or $10 minimum to cash out if people start creating new accounts and doing the same old thing over again.

That sounds good.

And am I correct in assuming 'excluded from rewards program' means they can't cashout either? So if someone has enough to cashout and then gets removed from the rewards program, they can't cashout that amount right?

Honestly looking at the number of new members we get I'm not looking to give a 3rd chance to members listed above to rejoin the reward program. (they have a second chance now after being warned)

Once you get removed from rewards program your balance is set to ZERO, you lose all you had. To pay you means to pay for trash. Not gonna do that.

To create new accounts they must use VPN everytime they login our forum and use same IP, I doubt they pay for a VPN to earn couple dollars here. Plus they must have another PayPal account and let's not forget they will post again trash since that's they do, and they get hammered again, I have more members reporting trash now.

New members already get a private message that includes our rules and rewards program details.

A good example of people that are only concerned with making money from being here is someone that was in the chat a few minutes ago...they've made no posts on the board, they have 3 referrals of which one of them has made 1 post, and they were asking why they didn't have any money for their referrals yet. Which is I guess better than posting useless things, but still, how can we expect them to do anything worthwhile?

What are the basis of a person getting warned here?

Example: you find a review thread about let's say Clixsense, if you really interested in joining this program but cannot find an answer you can ask for it, and if you already used this program and see other member asking that information answer to him.

If your reply is non-helpful or doesn't add value to the thread is considered trash, no matter how long it is.

If you say the same thing over and over again but with different words it's trash and someone will notice and report you exactly this happened with members listed above.

Pretty match this is what we consider trash.

What are the basis of a person getting warned here? As I know about spam, it is unsolicited or the content is not inline of the topic.
It is also generic comments left on threads that are basically repeating the same thing you said previously, but stated in a different way.

Regarding posts rating, this feature can be added, it will cost me some cash but I can add it after we upgrade to XF2.

Beside on each post, you see the number of rating options you will also see a rating bar with green and gray.

Also when that green bar is more gray we could remove people from the rewarding program. What do you say?

Sir give chance to member to increase quality instead of removing trashers ,,, try to uplift the member so that they can increase quality and post with quality better .....
For this immediately start a point or rating system where u rate member according to that every bmfers earn and all will try to get rated high by increasing their quality day by day ,,,hence to earn high !!,make a level system where higher the level member have higher they earn per post in this way quality will be impressing !!.

Thankyou !!.

I'll tell you something that I have noticed. No matter what these people can't and won't change because they are not interested in the health of this forum only the small coins that add up to money. The people on this lists are long time offenders here on the site. If you go to their profile and look up how many messages they have you'll find out that they all read the same. There is no variation in what they say or what they post. Right now I can look at a person's name and basically know what will be said before I even read the post.

  1. Wow the pay on this site is so good. I know it is only for professional writers. Is this available worldwide?
  2. Hope anyone who can join this site can supply payment proof. It is unfair the site isn't for members worldwide.
  3. I want to see payment proof before I join.
  4. It is unfair only people in the US can join here.
  5. I can't write for a site like this because I don't have the writing skills, but the pay is good. How many words do you need?
The list goes on and on. Mr B has warned these people and they still don't get it. They are still posting the same trash on the site as before. They won't chance because they can't and furthermore, they aren't interested in joining a lot of these sites. They are only interested in adding coins to their pocket.

They are fully aware of the thread here and they have posted on it. They see their name on it, but they still continue to post the crap on this site that is useless and can't benefit a person from the outside who is searching for information about joining a site. This site comes up in search engine on the first page all the time. If an outsider comes here to read a review they leave not gained one bit of knowledge. They still can't make a decision based on the information supplied on here and they've wasted their time reading the review on this site. There is not one bit of helpful information on the comments that can help a person determine if they should join a site or not.

Basically a review on a new site is to find out all you can about the site. It is to share you knowledge about this site. If you work on this site add to the review. Give your first hand experience about the site to help others understand it. Don't cry and whine about not being able to work on it or about how your writing skills are inferior and you can't write a paper to submit to the site. Add helpful information. If you want to earn coins on here at least you can do is go to the site and check it out first before you even add your worthless comment. One easy way to help people is look up the site and go directly the the FAQ. You can add a small comment like this -

I just found out that the company uses a point system for the work you do. Each point is worth $0.001. You'll need so many points to convert to $1. However, this company won't pay you until you've reached $10 in your account.

Now that adds to the post and gave information that helped a person understand the review. Furthermore, the review didn't state this so the comment was beneficial and helpful.

Now here is a comment that is worthless -

This is the first time hearing about this site. Is it for international users? How much do they pay? Do you have payment proof because I won't join until someone can give me this.

See the difference. Which one helps and which one is trash. Now stop crying and start helping if you'd like a second chance. Do a bit of research and add to the post and not just cry because you can't do the work.

Furthermore, people are sick of hearing about how low the pay is on this site. Mr B has a lot of people to pay and he is the only investor in this site. Increasing your pay on here will close down this site. Furthermore, why would he want to increase your pay to read trash on his site.

The only other choice in all of this would be this:

  1. Each comment submitted to the forum would need moderation before it earned.
  2. It would be more like a blog site that would force you to read the comments and determine if they are helpful and beneficial before they appeared on your site.
  3. This way the payment could be increased if your comment was posted. If it was deleted you'd not see any coins in your account.
  4. This way would take up way too much of Mr B valuable time and take him away from his goals of making his business grow and producing his much needed video reviews. He could only accomplish this if he had another person helping him out weeding through the tons of worthless comments and selecting the good ones to post and pay.
Even the rating system that people are asking for is worthless. Why because the trash posters would only vote for each other to increase their rating on the site. The people who really helped out and left a decent message would not receive any rating because this would decrease the rating of a trash poster. They would make sure they had a chance to stay on here by increasing their rating through this system.

I vote no for this. It is not a good system and would only damage the forum more by people abusing this rating system and uping their rating on the site. I feel this is a very bad idea. If you think a person was helpful then give them 5 coins and like their comment. This is basically the only rating that is needed on here. A post that was helpful should be liked and you should pay the person to be helpful. Plain and simple.

My advice to you Mr B is to save your money. Don't install this because it will be abused and not serve the purpose it was designed for. They won't respect this system and each trash post will receive a high rating no mater what. I won't install this on here if I were you. It will only encourage the people who trash post to do more.
