Personally I always withdraw it because most times it works out better for me that way than sat in there in a different currency. I can often make extra money just by transferring it to my bank account because of the currency exchange which is always handy! I know many people that have told me they prefer to just leave it sat in PayPal for whenever they need it again. It made me wonder if this is more common than withdrawing it, so many people seem to do that.

I don't have paypal as my friend have it, this month the paypal will be launch in my country and then i will sign up for it. I think its safe to keep money on our personal paypal wallet.

It is advisable to withdraw your Paypal money to the bank. One reason being that exchange rates keep fluctuating and the other one is the risk of losing your money to hackers. Another reason is in case one dies the next of kin may get it hard to recover money while in the bank it will be easier with all the required documentation.

Been hacked once 3 years ago now Via Paypal that's why everytime I get payment. I withdraw all my money. I still have doubts. Many hackers everywhere. Scares me.

Aw sorry about that. i hope paypal take actions to this kind of situation. Were you able to recover your account? That scares me too, we should always be careful and as much as possible never ever check balance of paypal on public internet cafe

I am glad that india has system of auto withdraw to the bank. and paypal is following that rule. we get paid directly into the bank. so this can be really good. and you get paid into the account. so I personally think that this sort of the system is good in many ways. people have to adjust with it. keeping money in paypal earns us no money at all. and we have to learn how to avoid keeping the money. and instead send it to the bank.

I'm seeing all the comments on hacking? Has anyone's PayPal ever been hacked? From what I know PayPal is quite secure. When someone enters your account from a different Ip they send you a message. So before we make claims let's have facts. Remember this is a company's reputation.

IN 2017the best e-wallet is paypal so i never fear that it will be lost as it is trusted by billions it provides best service
So i always hold if cash is not required .. And thwy have best security in world so not to fearing
for lost?....haha thanx......reply please....

I'm honestly hacked before and 2 of my facebook friends help me during cloud days they even help me to call paypal CS and I call paypal customer service too they help me all the way but I didn't recover my money supposed to pay the tuition fee of my daughter at least the paypal Account still here and have a strong security now but I still have fear.

@anorona yes I recover my account but not the money. Anyways, that was 3years ago. Thank you.

Always put a strong password and change it at least once a month. For security purpose ...

If I leave money in PayPal, I will really not like the experience when I urgently need money and I don't have cash in hand. It takes 3 days for the money to reflect in my back account after I withdraw from PayPal. I also have to go to the bank which some distance away and provided it is not a weekend so I can withdraw the cash.

Leaving money in PayPal is good if I want to save but not convenient when that is the cash I need for immediate use.

Yes this is what I always do, even on different bank cards this is advisable to do. even ATM now are being hacked by the use of some devices like key pads on machines.

Being in India my PayPal is limited. I cannot leave money in PayPal even if i want and all earnings even if they are micro or nano cents will be Auto transferred to my linked bank account. I actually hate that Auto transfer but there is no way out.

no way. as per RBI regulations money has be transferred instantly to my bank account and payapl acts accordingly. instant money transfer happens what ever may be the balance. the process is automatic and does not require any authentication. earlier this was not the case. as and when i require money then only they tend to transfer to my bank account.
this is big problem and as a result i can't cash out early and have to wait for at least $5 for any cash out . otherwise paypal charges will make it insignificant.

If you leave your many in Paypal it could disappear for any reason , I never leave more than i can afford to lose in my Paypal account. As you know Paypal is a messed up operation. They can freeze your account for any reason , When I do buy or sell, I go through my Paypal account directly to my bank. I keep a fairly small account dedicated only to my Paypal account.

Used to withdraw my PayPal funds straight away. I'm starting to think I should either do the following: build 10$ up and then withdraw it to my bank account or withdraw my months earnings and the end of the month.

Leaving money in Paypal is okay by me but one has to be a little careful by working a little on ones password which is like a key to unlock one's account,it pertinent one has a complicated password in place like using mixture of upper and lower case, symbols and numbers at once in the password, this might be very difficult to guess by intruders and one account might be difficult to hack especially if one needs to leave money in his or her PayPal for a long time.

It is only very rarely that I withdraw money from my PayPal account. I am actually trying to save my online earnings on PayPal only. I recently started a small business and I have some future projects and I am saving up for this. I also use my PayPal earnings to purchase stuff online at times.

That is nice, atleast you have savings somewhere but I was told that PayPal doesn't allow more than $500 at a goal, what if you have more than $500 there and you need it urgently,?

It is good to leave some amount on paypal for purposes. I always leave some bucks on my paypal account so whenever I need to buy something online, or complete some task, i will have something to use.

Actually, if one needs to buy some stuffs online it is easier to buy through PayPal that is why it is advisable to keep some money in your PayPal account.

I have done buying plane ticket using my paypal account, and I am very thankful that I left some amount on my paypal account, and was avle to get the promo on air fare. Actually, I only withdraw amount that I need for my loading business, plus there is no need to worry leaving your balance on paypal because you can be sure that it will be safe there.

Considering the track records of PayPal, I see it as an online bank so in as much you can trust your offline bank PayPal is 80% trustworthy and reliable platform to safe money
