@Awan Cheyanne - In an ideal world, I'd agree with you. But the fact is that people DO NOT ask themselves the question "Am I contributing anything?" Maybe you and I are wise enough to answer that question, but many people can't or don't even bother to ask themselves that question when they post. That's why we are in the situation we are in now where we have spammers. I still think the voting system will be effective in finding spam posters/spammers, but if the majority here do not like it, I'll stop pushing for it.

Anyway, let's see if the warnings have any effect for now. Hopefully it'll at least reduce some spammers. I'll keep an eye out for useless comments.

I don't think voting system would solve problem at all. Let's be real most of users here dream about making 30-40$ per month and on top of that they refuse to learn anything ( i mean they say they will etc to get post count but never even try), they pump post and click on faucets sites. Everything related for learning (and i mean real learning like few hours per day) or investing 1$ or even 0.50c is to "big" risk for them. They are just happy they can get anything with any real effort or knowledge.

Now the point of me say all that open like this is because if you have vote system those users (who are majority) will vote up for that type of post over and over again securing possibility to spam in the future like they do now.

I think we should not criticize,if the member wants to earn 40 Dollars per month or 1000 Dollars per month.It is everybody's personal thing,how he works,and what he is dreaming about,and if he wants to invest money or don't.It depends on everybody's judgement.
It depends on the members free time as well,if he has couple of hours to learn something new.If somebody wants to earn from faucets,why should this bother anybody?
Anyway I am feeling already stressed at thinking,that I can receive a warning anytime.Till now I felt free to post my personal opinion about a theme,I felt comfortable being active here.I really liked this forum,I felt like home,and the community as friends.I really liked posting here calmly,and I don't know,if what I am posting it is useful?It might seem useful to me,but maybe not for other members...

Users lose 5 coins every time they upvote (like) something (the 5 coins go to the person who was liked) so people will not abuse it because they will lose BMF coins. Not to mention, upvotes will not result in any reward/benefits. We would only be concerned with downvotes here because we want users to downvote spam.

I think Mr B is handing this quite nicely now. I just have another suggestion. If you've taken away follow along journey then why not consider taking away website review. They are basically the same and would fall under the same category. If you write up a very long follow along journey with lots of details it is no longer paid. However, you can write up a few words and ask a person to review your website. I think that doesn't need to be paid and not many people use this so it wouldn't hurt. Plus we are doing the person a service to help them out reviewing their website.

However on follow along journey I have read a few good posts there that have been beneficial and really were interesting. I did learn a few things from these posts that were noted and some used in the website I am building now for a friend. Some didn't apply to the site so they were not used. I especially like the one post Mr B did on website and what you need to do to start them. I believe he was writing about starting an adult website. Second one I really have been following is the one where a member here and Mr B are discussing the adult website he is creating. Very interesting and very helpful posts if you ask me. One other post I found was about a forum I'd never heard of. This person earned quite a sum of bit coins from this and I was impressed. It is a more complicated type of site to work, but they kept at it and were able to earn a large sum of bit coins.

Anyhow I think to announce the person's name on here like you have done will help stop a lot of this crap. People don't want their name posted on here. That would embarrass them and make then ashamed for what they did and how they were gaming the system with crappy comments to earn a few cents on here.

Mr B. I think it is time to close a few posts that keep attracting the same type of comments one right after another. There are a few posts that are 12+ pages long and I don't find much of anything useful on any of the comments. Even if I try to change the direction of the post and help people out, all that comes back on them is the same thing over and over again. These posts shouldn't be kept open and you keep paying on them. I feel it is better to close them and make people start over and try to break this habit they are in. This is only my opinion on this. I can't even comment on them because it doesn't even matter what you say nobody will pay attention and just go back to repeating what they've written a 100 times on this post. Thanks for considering this.

I am very pleased to see that you took measures about some trash posts that were posted here lately. It annoyed me sometimes to see the same users commenting the exact "5" words they know at every post they could find. Unfortunately I am late, I hadn't been active the last couple of days so I couldn't contribute with any report, but I think it is a very good decision to increase the quality of posting

I agree with report system due to Mr B might not have enough man power to oversee all the posts, but must on volunteer basic, no reward on reporting, if not, someone might abuse it to earn some points.
Dislike could be a tool to alert to moderator or Mr B to look into certain trash post.

I don't think we should be paid to report things, but that is only my view. It might be an incentive for some to make reports: I know on the site I am normally on, many people won't report spam or other rule violations. However, my own opinion is people should want to help a site stay 'healthy'; by not reporting violations, you are only hindering a site.

Correct, for reporting private spam messages is now 1000 BMF Coins penalization, 500 BMF goes to reporter and 500 BMF to administration. It used to be 250 penalizations, but we increased to keep spammers away from BMF.

I lost 1750 bmf coins by spamming before reading rules ,,
So I'm curious to know that what is spamming ???why u have spamming and charge penalties ??how spam effect your forums ??
