Have you ever had an amazing idea to create a game but you never did because of not knowing how to program?

I wonder how many people here want to learn game programming and what kind of game would they like to create ? Horror, Adventure , Action ? Sport game perhaps ?

Wow, gameloft. Android game company! what is your current occupation right now? Full-time earning online?
Actually, we were on the iOS division.
Nope, I am a medical student and have several projects. I have my websites, I am (but only for a short period of time) active with the faucets just to make enough to start trading and so on.

I want to build an open world games like GTA. ;):p
Many companies tried to make something similar to Grand Theft Auto but it seems no company succeeded in that.I think Saints Row was something similar to Grand Theft Auto and not gonna lie it is cool but still GTA is GTA :p

I am a software developer, and I have always dreamed to be part of creating multiplayer online battle arena type of games (MOBA) --woah what a dream :D Sad part is, although I am a software developer, I lack in knowledge on how to create such gaming softwares. Maybe someday I'll figure it out.
How old are you ? Do you really have skills in Software Dev? I really wanted to become one, but don't have any idea on how to start, maybe you can share some inputs.

i like the adventure repeating genre of games cause it has more fun
Can you give me an example of the game that you like from that genre ? I might as well give you some info how the game is created and some info about the developers maybe ? = )

for me, i love simple games like candy crush or subway surf, maybe chess sometimes cus im a huge fan though i lose most times, but i feel it has a lot of intellectual effect so in few words, i would love to build a chess game

Unity programming can be handy when it comes to game development. I have found the learning curve to be a bit harder in such case. I have found things to be a bit harder in that case.

games are usually much harder to develop than software, that's why many developers choose to stick to software because it doesn't give so many headaches  but if I were to develop a game, I'd develop a small sports game

I would like to develop a game like Super Mario Maker. I usually see streams and videos on YouTube of this Game. And I enjoy watching it.
I like the way like People create their levels and upload to the Game Server so many Peoples Plays it.

i love both game and software development, i guess that was what attracted me to python programming in the first place, but i'm still at the amateur stage in that, and the best game i've developed from python so far is the black-jack game using multiple inheritance.

I think the game development requires more effort for the type of the games. I can tell you that development depends on the concept. and the 2D gaming wise i'd say there are some really good editros and the game options. I'd say you have to experiment and find out.

i remebered when i was in my college days, our professor ask us to create a game, and we come up to an idea to make a zombie game where you can choose your car and your enemy is zombies. but we are not able to do that game due to lack of time so we ended doing a simple game like hangaroo with no design.

To be sincere i can tell you that if you have those skills you can sell it for money in one of my favorite site call youtube that site is very simple to use also you can go to fivrr market place and established your skills.
Or you make use of upwork former odesk
facebook is another good place for doing that

If it's money-oriented, I suggest to create mobile games, since they supports a lot of micro-transaction in game. But if you love a particular genre, then just make that genre

I ever dreaming to make an unique game.
Maybe it can be called "Feudalism"

Well on that time(Medieval time on Europe) life was very hard. Theres a King, Lords, Knights and Peasant or Serf.

My dream game would be on Europe kingdoms and theres war too between them.

On the game theres requirements to increase the ranks(peasant to knight)
We start as a peasant and do daily activities as a peasant:Roflmao:

Farming, hunting or do some job maybe it can be called Quests, until they had requirements to advance the ranks.
Requirements to advance is golds(from the quest).

Knights and Lords will have their own Army, Land, Castle and Serfs thats why they must have many golds.
Knights and Lords earn foods from their land and can be sold for golds. They have to maintain their economy as they need food and golds for their army and also they have to pay taxes to the King.

The last is there is election for King on every kingdoms. King will have duty to manage taxes, politic and war.
When theres a war lords and knights will send army and so on.

Well thats all my ideas of a game

Hey there! This for sure is a great and interesting question! If I were to develop a game, I would probably develop a fighting game like UFC or Tekken or Street Fighter type game, because I sure do love those and would definitely be willing to develop such a game!

you can't create that 'amazing' game alone , because companies usually have a lot of programmers in one team , everyone has a part of job he does , of course you can make a game , but it won't be decent as if it's made in a company

Yeah for sure your point makes sense, but with a lot of effort and hard work, you could possibly be able to make a good enough game to release to a smaller audience and build from there, that's what most indie game developers do.

Hey there, this is an awesome concept bro! How long have you thought about this game because it sounds amazing and definitely something I would like to try out for sure! Good luck in trying to get it done!

I did think of making a web based game where you can fight creatures like a mmorpg and level up skills. Between each fight you would view adverts and earn a small amount of $$/gold. I was going to make it so that people could buy and sell loot for bitcoin. I got far into it but my art sucks. I was using sprites from the mmorpg Tibia for a long time but did not want any legal issues and just abandoned it. I did learn alot from it though.

Yes I also think it was good concepts, it just pop up on my mind.
Unfortunately I couldnt make it, Im not a programmer or game developer.

I also love a business game, for example capitalism 2(PC games)
Be an owner and CEO of a company that you have build, you can choose from livestocks, retails, realestate to a manufacturer company
A game with unliminted complexities, the game also had a company stocks feature. Overall its awesome, its just need improvement to make it a perfect business game in my opinions.
