Wealthy Affiliate is a site where you can learn how to build an online business, and there is a affiliate program where you can earn commissions from your referrals too.

There are two types of membership:
  • Starter membership (FREE)
  • Premium membership ($19 for the first month special offer, then $49 per month thereafter)

For starter membership, you will be given 2 websites and 10 starter lessons. From there, you can build the websites, start your business and generate traffic. I think this might be good for promoting affiliate products.

Referral program:

If the referrals have upgraded to premium membership, starter members earn $4 for the first month special offer, then $11.75 monthly and $87.50 yearly commissions.
For premium membership, it's double of this. The commissions sound attractive. ;)

Payment information:

Minimum Payout: $20
Payment processor: Personal check or PayPal


The company has been around since 2005. I just joined the site and wish I can set up the website there and start learning about affiliate marketing. I am yet to learn more about this site.

i think wealthy affiliates also ask for fee first before training but the site you mention asking too much money for starting , i think it is costly.

These sites are build around getting your money and nothing more.
Outdated information in a video tutorial, no thanks. Rather spend that time doing research and asking people that actually succeeded.

I think,it is very expensive the cash,which they are asking for the course.I think,you can find all the necessary information online on different sites too,as Mr.B mentioned above,just you have to take the time,to learn everything thoroughly from the basics.

I think this is the worst possible alternative to WA. And that's only because of the price - maybe some people are just not made for doing this, giving them false hopes after they paid that amount is just too wrong

I took the free trial some years ago, which is free until a certain phase. Then you have to pay a fee to get more content.

The course is good for newbies, but if you have been in this for while you realize all that information is available on the net. Maybe they sometimes do webinars introducing fresh content. But overall you can start affiliate marketing without them.

I think the issue about WA is the affiliates themselves. Almost all of them, sweep the web leaving bad reviews about any internet marketing programs around. They do it just to pitch WA as the only way to be a marketer and make money online. This is a very low practicing.

Affilorama's free courses are good. and then there seems to be lot of youtube channels that you can make use of. I am sure thaat would be good enough as well. but it does take time though. it's not going to be something that you should be always pushing.

Most imformation we buy from ebook seller are readily available on the internet but most times the technicallitu in acessing the imformation is usually the problem but with forums like this information are easily acessible

Try SFI for free. You don't have to purchase anything at all. You don't have to be a member of anything else. Just be active on the site, that's all. Plus, if you sign up, you are eligible to win $250.00 just for joining. I am a member myself. No, I haven't made any money with it yet because of my hospitalizations. I've been in and out of the hospital, and never really devoted time or energy into actually pushing it. There's just so many ways to make money online, and you can do it for free, and you don't have to click on PTC just to make $1.00...Try some GPT sites. And GPT stands for Get Paid To....good luck.

There are other things that I do online to make money that are free. I don't know if some of you would actually want to DO THEM, but trust me when I say it's well worth it. You got Fusion Cash , Inbox Dollars, Jobs 2 Shop, PointClub, Send Earnings, DollarClix, and Clixsense. I've gotten paid from all of them. I got paid $35 from FC, $30 from Inbox Dollars, $100 from Jobs 2 Shop, $25.00 on the way from PointClub even though I've already gotten paid from them once before, $30.00 from Send Earnings, $3.00 from DollarClix (I know, it's really low), and from Clixsense I have already made over $100 with them but I just cashed out $63.00 from them. Not to mention Branded Surveys and I just got paid from them $10.00, and Pandamails at $50.00, and I've gotten paid twice from Cashcrate but I'm about to get paid again $20.00, and of course you gotta take into consideration Paidviewpoint too and you always qualify and I'm about to get paid by them my $18.00....you just have to apply yourself and just do it. There's so many ways to make money online, and many of the stuff is absolutely free of charge.

@micemeat, it does sound like a lot of work but it really it isn't. I spend maybe 3 hours a day, but, on certain ones I am able to cashout THAT SAME DAY. There's about 3 places where I do surveys, but see, I get those high dollar surveys. Well, I wouldn't necessarily call them high dollar...I don't get your typical .50 cents per survey, nor do I get the .60 per survey. With some of the sites I do, you can pretty much either get paid once a week and some are multiple times in a day, and there are those on other sites that actually pay you a month after...I do those, the ones where I get paid a month after, FIRST, get them out of the way. Without making my post long (it's already too long as it is), I have a certain system that I do so that I can make the most of my time doing surveys that works for me so that I am not wasting time.

@Tamika Williams sounds like your method works fairly well, what sites are your highest paying? not a big fan of surveys fine them very time-consuming!, however by the sounds of it you have a fairly good method of going about them.

wow, now that's what I call a well-made strategy with all those sites. I won't even try calculating the whole sum of the amounts mentioned there, it's clearly a huge profit. do you also have many refs on those sites?

Well stated.most of the information needed for this program are there on the internet,it all about reserching and learning about it techicalities and finding one around and one don't need to spend.I believe when once one need to be fed by other,then one needs to pay a price,but all the same wealthy affiliate is a good program

I joined Wealthy Affiliate a few weeks ago
due to a friend doing pretty well on it. I
realise most of the information is
available for free elsewhere but the rest
of the stuff you get is worth the cost of
membership.

Free hosting for 25 sites on your own domain
names and 25 sites on their Rubix platform plus keyword, SEO and grammar tools etc would cost more than the membership. Plus the training is easy to follow especially for beginners!

I've found the community to be really helpful.
Anytime I've been stuck with anything I've had
an answer in minutes. A lot quicker than trawling the internet for answers.

It's not a scam or a get rich quick scheme nobody is promising you'll be rich in 3
months. They give you the info and tools
it's up to you to put the time and effort
in to learn and put it to use.

Isn't SFI network marketing. This is very diffrent from affiliate marketing. It is also much harder, mainly because you need to use your network, if you have one.

I think there are many out there. But you can see the affilorama. also there are some of the youtube channels which can be useful. so there isnt much demand for the wealthy affiliate anymore. it's waste of time from what i have seen.

I heard a lot of people who are making a lot of money through wealthy affiliate. i wish I could also make money from it but the problem is that I am not good in this kind of job since I don't have any great skills.

That is why there is full training available at Wealthy Affiliate, you don't need any skills to get started and you will learn if you make the time to watch the training videos and complete the tasks.
