UserCrowd was rebranded not long ago. The company changed their name from UsibilityHub to UserCrowd. When they did this it seems that the site now has more tests that you can take. This is an international website and anyone can join. Here you will be doing really short user tests on websites or even apps. They can even ask you for your opinion on different logos or other types of information a developer is looking for the opinion from the public.

How Does it Work?
  • Like all sites, you must first join.
  • Here you can only join with your email address and password.
  • The site will ask you several questions regarding your age, your country, and what languages you speak.
  • They will also make you verify our phone number. You must enter your phone number and they will send you an SMS with a verification code. Before you can finish the sign-up process you must enter this code.
  • The site will verify your time zone and set this up for you.
  • They will also want to know how many hours you work on your computer each day.
  • They ask you if you want to set up your push notifications on the site.
  • This is a really good idea. If you have them turned on you can receive notifications of a new test that is available for you to take.
How Do The Tests Work?
  • The tests are super simple and easy to take. You don't need a screen recorder or even a microphone to take the tests. They are all done in your web browser.
  • The company can show you a website for a few seconds. After this, they will give you a few questions to answer. The questions are simple and deal with what you remember about the website you just saw.
  • Normally, it takes less than a minute to take the test and give your feedback.
  • You can also be shown a logo or a set of logos and asked which one you like better. You must give your feedback and tell them why you like this one.
  • You'll earn points for each test that you take. The test points are 1 to 5 points for the tests.
How Are You Paid?
  • The company uses PayPal to pay you with.
  • You'll need $10 in your account before you can request your payment.
  • Each point you earn on the site is equal to $0.10.
  • You can earn $0.10 to $0.50 for each test that you take.
  • You need to request your payment from the company.
  • It normally takes 30 days to process your payment.
The site has improved since it rebranded. However, what I don't like is how long it takes to be paid by the company.

Has anyone joined this site and how do you like it since it was rebranded?

On usability hub? The minimum is 10$ or is equivalent for 100 points. I havent been paid because I do not receive task from them, I am only using mobile, and they are much better to be used on laptop, because you need to leave the tab open to get notified for
new task.
Okay, $10 is worth it if you receive many tasks. I have a laptop so it's okay for me to register in Usabilityhub. Is Paypal accepted for payment?

Yes from what I remember, they pay in paypal, though it takes up to 2
weeks for the payments to be sent.
But you can be aure it is legit because have been paid already.

What two weeks? That's too long to receive the payment. Anyway, you said it's legit and you've been paid so I guess it's worth to try.

I havent been paid because I cannot continue workinh on their site since I
am just using mobile. This better works for laptop users, I have seen many payments.

Okay, that's good because I'm using a laptop and I hope I could get many tasks. I'll try also to watch some details on YouTube. How long have you been in usabilityhub?

I been there since november last year, I only get 3 credits, then after
that I stop because I did not receive any task after that. But those who
are on laptop will always get notified whenever there is new task available.

I've already registered unfortunately no tests for now even if my using a laptop. Maybe it depends on your location. The US will most likely to get more tasks because of time zone.

i dont think so, because they send surveys on a random
time, and maybe they are
equally distributing the surveys to each country.

Lol at first sighned up wrongly, then got mail asking why i dont make tests, i reply that i wanna take surveys not making one, but still not getting any surveys till now

Does the time zone matters on my profile? Because I've saved it to the nearest time zone in my country then changed it to the US because there's a message saying that the best timezone is the US.

I think no. Because they just send survey regardless of your timezone. There are
times that they will be sending surveys at 2am or 3 am, somtimes early in the morning like 5am, or late at night at 12mn.

I have already received more than one payment from them, it usually takes on average 2 weeks to be in our paypal and I think paypal is their only processor as I can't find other payment options in the site.

Glad to hear that you have been paid. I heard that you may receive less than $10 at times as they check all the answers and you will be paid only for those answers which pass the check.

Congrats to you. I wish they can also have the app version for mobile users. Their task are very easy, I like to continue on the site but it does not work well on mobile.

Oh my, I'm already sleeping that kind of time zone but I got one task earlier but it takes time to load so the result was error loading so sad, not lucky on my first day.

Dont worry because do not send at any particular time, so it is not always during our sleeping time. Is is the app that keeps loading or is it on their site?

I'm using a laptop browsing their website. Maybe it has something to do with my internet connection that's why I got error loading earlier.

I guess it is. You have to have a good internet connection, so that when you leave the tab open on their site, it will keep running on background and will notify you for every new
task.

I turned on the notifications so every time they're going to send tasks I will be notified right away. Does it have an app for smartphones?
