Iran is one country that has fully legalized and actively using bitcoin and other Crypto currencies in their activities. Bitcoin.com recently revealed that Iran has reviewed it Crypto law recently which now direct that all miners should sell their Crypto currencies to Central Bank of iran, this is enable the government to fund imports.

A Crypto analyst Alireza Shamkhi has however critcise the law as been ambiguous as it didn't state the Crypto to dollar or rial exchange rate which will give the miners a clear picture of the whole thing.

Decentralized networks and crypto exchanges of other countries cannot be controlled. But of course A law decideds that what Govt or their bank will decide, is final. Don't think they planned foolproof, there is always loophole in such law, they can only legalize and decide price in their country.
I think its only the crypto exchanges in the country that can be controlled by government creating laws , so of the government tells their citizen to sell to only them they will , but don't why the laws been legalise are only favouring them

280k in rial and 28k in tomans i live in iran i already said that to convert from rial to toman you just remove a zero and we do use rial but not as much anymore
Thanks for this update. So toman is 10 rial, there was news that a Toman is 10k rial, but that was not confirmed.

Crypto exchangers can be jailed or punished as per the law, if law wants them to follow something. But law will remain where it has power. You are right, Iran government will control crypto users', it is same like China is controlling for it's own cryptocurrency.

I thought the post said they will sell to the government then that means they will have to buy at any price stipulated by the government since they need money
That's what I mean there. The government will use the strategy to control the price because the miners won't want to loose miner rights by dialoguing the price

and i don't think this rule is for exchanges exchanges aren't EXCATLY legal here well sort of it's a little complicated but then long story short that just wouldn't work out what i think is that they legalized mining and gave electricity at better cost so miners would all register their mining facilities and so now they have no way of running away from this new law i think this law will only effect miners

Like what miners right they are protecting not to loose ? but i understand your second point that the government is using this straegy to control price

I think after the government stepped in and provided electricity at low costs and other resources for mining activities, they had to give licenses to miners, I guess those would be the mining rights.

This is a way for the government to also benefit from the mining of all of these crypto coins, which may be a good thing because it shows that they are legalizing it by asking for it to be sent to a bank.

They have legalized it already and they are making money from it already, issueing of mining licences and this development too will earn money.

The right I mean here is the mining right that the government gives to miners in order to be able to mine in the country successfully .

The easiest way is licensing of miners so that they can mine within the confine of the mining law of the country. Thumb up for Iran in this regard.

Okay now i understand ,well since its the government that give them mining right they could take back the mining right from those that dont comply

There is always gonna be a renewal of license so they won't take back the it but when it time to renew they will deny them that .

Oh i never knew they do renew their license , do they also pay tax when renewing their license too because its obvious they could also do that

Covid destroyed Iran's economy, so it is trying to get some sources of income, in market now 1 USD costs more than 42k Iranian Rial. And one Bitcoin equals 569259600 Rial. Cryptocurrency income is under their consideration.
What? ? dear
That info is not true, am an iranian guy.. the country has not been affected by pandemic more than other countries... and dear we have another money unit named Toman and Rial is literaly out of any usage, but the bad point is high growing rate of dollar which i believe thats a strategy to the people inside to make them powerless

It is a very good thing that a country like Iran has also made a law for crypto currency in its country.Similarly, other Countries should also make laws of cryptocurrency for their own comfort so that they too can do business trading in cryptocurrency and earn more money.Because cryptocurrency is a blockchain technology all translation are completely secure. In the coming days, the custom of cryptocurrency will become even more.

Sorry you have to read this, but I had discussion with another Iranian friend, and misunderstanding was cleared.

USD is the Bitcoin of Fiat currencies, it is always high.
