The UK's financial control agency FCA has warned investors of the risks. The statement came after the decline in Bitcoin.

The original text of the statement is as follows: "Investing in crypto assets, related investment or credit instruments involves very serious risks. If investors choose to put money in such instruments, they should know that they risk losing all of their money "

What do you think about the current risks of the markets?

I think everyone who Invested in any investment not just Cryptocurrencies in particular already knows that. That's like the golden rule of investing..

Of course all investors know the risks involved in investing in an asset. Anyone who does not know it and cries foul when they lose money in a proper investment is just not an investor. What irks me is organization like FCA and SCC pretend like they have the investors wellbeing at heart while they have the exact opposite.

This statement is a conscious reminder to investors who are over excited about a prospect that there is a risk of potentially losing every cent you invest, if the tides turn against you.

Yes, they warn investors of possible risks, it is normal. But sometimes they can be a risk factor on their own with their practices.

In as much as those bodies are doing their jobs, I can also sense some kind of Ill intention to discredit cryptocurrencies and to dissuade its use amongst people

There is no risk in investing in crypto currency. The only risk is that for you not to study the crypto currency you want to invest on before putting your money. That is the main key in investment

Yeah i think its actually a reminder to investors , but its best for the investors to know how to manage the investment to avoid too many lose i think

Any user should be aware of this and try to be cautious about online site for btc. This warning is very necessary, do that users can do a whole lot of investing with money they can easily easily forget or forgo.

Cryptocurrency investment is something that most investors are aware of the risk involved in it . I think the only thing here is that the organization are trying to scare people from Bitcoin investment

Yeah i think many would be really aware of this and that is why there is always a warning on those crypto exchange sites , when you want to invest

Well, it might just be about two things which one is to let people know that btc trading is risky and maybe scare people away so people just need their own initiative in this case

The truth is that the warning does not hurt to let people know about the risks they run when investing in cryptocurrencies and that when making their investments they do so with caution.

I think always trying to invest more of what one can lose without being hurt should be adopted. A ridky thing needs more caution then ever

You are right, things must be well analyzed before making any investment, we know how the world of finance is that you have to assume the risks they represent.

I feel this is Joke of the Day! ???

Who doesn't know about this truth and I wonder what the officials are up to........???

Every investment involves risk whether it's mutual funds, shares, gold, real estates, etc. I can't understand why the officials need to pinpoint bitcoins particularly.

True ,but it is also possible that he is talking based on his own feelings towards Bitcoin . That is ,he may be talking out of pure hatred towards Bitcoin

Yeah right, this might just be from personal beef with Bitcoin, so this might just be taken with a pinch of salt. But one still need to be careful

So we must all take care when carrying out transactions with any cryptocurrency, taking into account the risks involved in doing this type of business.
