make money from social media.png

I
'm sure we all have our different social media account like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram for following, commenting, updating our status and other fun things. The good news is that we can turn this addictive passion into money making so to help us have a more productive experience using our social media platforms.

Don't keep on wasting away with these platforms; money can be made with them through the followings ways.

1. Be an affiliate: Get to register with any marketplace with affiliate program like Amazon, Clickbank, Konga, jumia register as a partner generate your ads code links and share it with your friends and followers as the click to buy from your link, you are making money through the commission that would be paid to you.

2. Act as a middleman for a fee: Connect your friends and followers to a product on any of the marketplaces, convince them to buy and they buy then you become 20% richer for just that effort. Sounds great, right?

3. Manage social media platforms for busy and lazy business owners: you update your status daily, likes and comments on different links for free, why don't you do this for money. Get to freelancing site to place a gig for this or you look around freelancing sites that have micro jobs of this nature, signup and start making money doing what you do for free.

4. Be a Brand Ambassador: Don't just take those photos and selfies for free, meet with business owners and agree to promote their products on your Instagram account for a fee, you'll be surprised at how much you'll be paid for this.

5. Make money with your videos: Do you make good videos whether a song, tutorials or how to do videos, you can put them on your YouTube channel, monetize your channel with any ads network or with an affiliate program and make money uploading them.

6. Be an advertiser for a fee: Are you good with human relations, can you convince people to buy products and drive sales to a merchant site, then contact a site owner, discuss your terms and conditions with them and start advertising on all your social media platform to drive traffic and get paid on your terms.

There you have them turn your social media platforms to money making platforms.

Are you making money from social networks?

I want to know how people make money from social media these days?

I recommend become an Amazon Affiliate and do product reviews. After you finished with every product review share your custom links given by Amazon to all your social media accounts. It's a good idea to start a Facebook fan page and gather as many fans you can and once a while promote affiliate products from which you earn a good commission, if product is related to your niche your Facebook followers will buy it. many does this and make a lot of money from home.

You can start making money via Facebook advertising.
You need to join some affiliate programs and a budget for start, you will easily scale from profit only.

I was a member of paid social media site called Whzon. But after a few weeks I really got bored with them. In fact you can earn interacting with other members and by posting videos and images there. But they have some complex rules which will never let you earn a good amount of money there. But I know there are people who earn money from Whzon. I left the site as I was not at all comfortable with it.

I am quite happy with my Facebook account and all my friends are on Facebook. So, I can't even think of a switch over to another social media site. That means I would be losing most of my contacts.

It would seem like it takes a lot of effort to make money off of social media sites. It can certainly be done, but you would have to attach your name to a lot of things and that might not be for everyone. There are several other ways to make some money online, but I do suppose that those would be nothing like you might be able to make from advertising revenues if you were to go that route with social media sites. Do your research like everything, though.

It is an easy way to make money from social media sites, if you applied right niche to the right social media sites. Facebook covers for technology and love stories, so if you have such type affiliate products then choose Facebook.

Fashion, Design and some part of travel may work on Pinterst. Twitter is good to promote anything if you great followers.

Yes I am familiar with Facebook campaigns. With these campaigns you will be paying everyday for them to actually market your business, page or what have you. It is an expensive service but it works from what I have seen. With this service people are able to choose their demographics and target audience, which is great (and seems like it can conserve a bunch of time). The service is often called Facebook ads, you probably have seen them on the side of your Facebook page, which is not hard to see because they are always there. These custom ads can reach far and target people based on age, demographics, and location, which is specifically whatever your choices are in those categories. I am a little curious though......can you actually see how your money is spent. I wonder how they appease the customer with the stats (believable stats).

@Sheebah7
They were advertisement and that is another way of making money from Facebook, but thanks for sharing your thoughts here. By using Facebook advertisements you can make profits, but most of them complained ads were frozen.
Those custom ads may reach target people, but they should have to convert into sales. I wonder if Facebook ads would work similar to Google ads.

I agree those ads should convert into sales, that is why I am a bit leary about this feature. You can send people to my page all day but if it is not engaging people to want to buy, it's a lost cause and a huge waste of money! Have you seen how much it costs per week? It is ridiculous, but what I have found is that in order to make money you have to spend money. For instance on You Tube you can pay for a similar service to make your video posts go viral.

Facebook ads works only some time as they have irrelevant traffic unlike Google has great conversation. I am not saying driving traffic to page, but driving traffic to a product directly in Facebook ads.
Have you noticed some products are displayable in Facebook sidebar, such as Memory cards, dresses.

Youtube and Facebook have monetization program for their videos if you have a lucrative number of subscribers and views. If you have thousands of Facebook friends, You can use it to start a kickstarter campaign.

I have earned 190 Canadian dollars from Whzon. It is a great social media site that pays for every like your post gets. Just like being in Facebook, I post a photo every once in a while and, of course, I also check on the posts of others if they are worth my like. It's just like passing the time when I have nothing much to do. And I earn 10 CAD every week.

However, there are times that the payment rate is changed like right now, the usual 8 CAD per like is down to just 2 CAD. So you can guess that members are shying away for the moment.

I have tried couple of social media sites that claim to pay the users. Some of these siteds were just a scam (for example my all friends), and some of them are slow earner such as TSU and Whzon. If you join these sites just to make money, you will not benefit much.

If you have signed up as an affiliate to companies like Amazon, you can earn money from social media sites by posting advertisements on your social media page or blog page. You can also earn by posting promotional messages about a product or service in your page.

Facebook can a be a good source of traffic for your site. If you make a fan page and join the right groups you can really increase the traffic to your site or blog.

Anyone can say as it comes, but everything is a tough situation and some times pages can too disappear from the social media sites. Some people has complained after getting a huge fan base and the page got deleted by Facebook team. It is a temporary way to monetize site until we have real organic traffic.

Well, if you have money that you do not mind spending for advertising, than making money on social media should pretty much be easy for you, but you need to know what you are doing!
People make money on social media by paying the social platform to advertise products or anything else to their visitors for you, for example: Facebook ads (very lucrative with Teespring) and Twitter ads. You can post affiliate products or CPA offers for your ads to get money when anyone purchases your affiliated product or completes an offer!

To me, social media is Facebook and I know there are lots of opportunities out there. One is the networking where you try to recruit Facebook friends and earn not only from the sales but also on the commission from the recruits. There's also dropshipping where you can sell items that you don't hold but has a contact with the supplier who would deliver the good to your buyer. I'm looking at the advertising on how to earn from it using Facebook.
