Are you bored from your regular antivirus that's always opening the doors for different viruses to your computer ?

Malwarebytes is a free antivirus that was released back in 2008, it detects and elimnates different type of antivirus, and also blocks you from accessing to websites that are most likely filled with tracking plugins or have harmful content.

PROS :

Free
Supports a lot of viruses
Has regular updates
Small size
Less hardware demanding and doesn't slow down your computer
Supports the usage in safe mode, so you can delete the viruses when they aren't executed

CONS :
No cons!

Oh wow, thanks for sharing. And kudos to the developers behind the malware software for making it free. But I wondered if there is a free antivirus you can recommend?

I have been using Malwarebytes for many, many years. I'm a free user, but occasionally they'll offer me a 14 day Premium trial. They're a good antivirus and runs in the background without disturbing me. They also do a good job of scanning and getting rid of the bad stuff for my computer. My only complaint about them is they're a little slow sometimes when I run scans. I think you get faster speeds if you use the Premium version, but it's a bit slow for the free version.

Good and short review. Could you also come up with a comparison between this antivirus vs Avast/Norton/AVG etc? I am also using QuickHeal anti virus in my PC, and that is also doing fine.

It's just a matter of preference and features to be honest. It's very hard to pick which one among those you listed as the best, just like how people prefer coca cola than pepsi or fanta.

Using malwarebytes has been a good experience for me. It doesn't take up much cpu resources and scan and protection are free along with frequent updates. Most of the time I disable my Avast antivirus and use malwarebytes
i don't recommend using an unpopular antivirus, don't take the risk and make your data in the wrong hands as virus might leak like water in your computer

Yes I do agree. It is also a matter of preference plus personal experience and thinking.

Thank you for sharing, i've never tried Malwarebytes before, it's great if it doesnt consume much CPU usage, does it come with some ads too like the other "Free" antivirus?

No ads at all mate, it's also not rams/CPU intensive, which means you can still use it without noticing any performance drops at all
