Ethereum right now the #2 crypto currency in the world and is very popular among the crypto investors and is also less volatile compared Bitcoin.

So, is there any chance that Ethereum reach the same heights as Bitcoin in the near future or even eclipsing it?

I could say it might be possible but it will take a long time to happen. We couldn't say as of now since we are in a serious crisis and it affects all markets to drop. Let's see when everything gets back to normal.

Additionally, there are lot of factors to be considered in making Ethreum surpass or compete with Bitcoin. The main one is the interest of people into Ethereum rather than Bitcoin. If there is a great count then more demands for Ethreum.

I also think that Ethereum can come second in the value when compared to bitcoin in the future also... Ethereum is also volitile and stable cash and it is also accepted widely.. So etherium has chance to be equal to the value of bitcoin.

Do you think all people can switch bitcoin for ethereum when they never did for a long time now , I doubt if such will happen, Bitcoin is far ahead of ethereum.

I stated that one as a probably hypothesis . Don't want to leave out any possible things that might happen we wont know, if i have to state one unique feature of ethereum that can probably surpass bitcoin it might probably be the smart contracts

It is highly probable...people who didn't jump into the Bitcoin bandwagon earlier can make Ethereum their choice and hope for the same rise in value as BTC. But again a lot of factors determine the value of crypto to rise.. for e.g. increased demands and interest in the crypto.

Lately ethereum hasn't been really in the spotlight that i could agree, spotlight as of now is bitcoin because of the recent halving . Still waiting for the eth2.0 update if that will make things going for eth

Yes, I agree. Bitcoins advantage is that it is the first cryptocurrency to exist and first known by most people worldwide by its name, Bitcoin. The year of existence shows the gap between Ethereum & Bitcoin. If Ethereum had existed before Bitcoin then it might be the same as Bitcoin today.

You shouldn't compare cryptos by its individual coin price . It's a given that bitcoin's individual coin price is higher than ethereum because bitcoin is deflationary while ethereum is inflationary

You should note that each cryptocurrency has their own unique characteristics even if they're same cryptos , unlike bitcoin other coins have lower transaction fees , unlike bitcoin ethereum has smart contracts etc..

Not only in your country but most of the countries Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency. Its value can never be reached by any other cryptocurrencies. Combining other cryptocurrencies vs Bitcoin still Bitcoin will prevail.

regarding inflationary and deflationary characterstics of each coin, that's why we should not compared each coins individual coin value but rather each coins total market cap, though bitcoin is still far ahead of ethereum

In a nutshell
Bitcoin = deflationary
Ethereum = Inflationary
Deflationary = Less coins , More value per coin
Inflationary = More coins , Less value per coins

You are very much correct so releasing more etherium coins to boost the market cap will Lower the price some how which I not a good one.

I've read in an article that ethereum uses a somewhat unique function whereas if there are alot of users that are using eth it will lower its mining difficulty to create more coins or increase its difficulty depending on its blockchain status

If there are more coins available and it doesn't correspond to the demand don't you think the price will also fall?. It is better it follows Bitcoin trend.

Yep , that's why the system adapts depending on the situation in order for it not to inflate too much that it will just keep losing its value

I have not used it before to even know the transaction fee and how fast it can be sending or receiving funds through ethereum. Probably I could cash out through it.

Even though ethereum is second in ranking it is still ignored by most , i think I've read a recent news that transaction fee for ethereum is now climbing up and going par with btc fees

That is because Bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency that exist. It has been existing for many years unlike Ethereum. Bitcoin is limited in supply while Ethereum is infinite.
