Just checked your blog.
I don't like the stick header that is a 3rd of the screen. Just look below the screenshot

One question: is the content 100% original?
I dont have a problem with your user interface it looks good in mobile.
Correct me if im wrong i notice thay the content of your blog is like your so SAD? I detect an EMO vibe. Haha
Overall, good blog and good content too..
The gallery of your Latest Posts is kinda untidy. There are blank spaces maybe because of the different sizes of the images.
I like the contents though.
The layout is clean and simple. Works great on mobile devices.
That spaceship bridge image though takes a lot of space.
Overall, I like it.
Add songs on the background. Or add a player that containts your favorite song that can play in backgroud. That would be great. What do you think so @mildredtabithaEMO? lol. I am not too emotional but just a little. I am not sad but I think most people can identify with some posts because life is not a bed of roses but again we should always be positive.
I have tried removing the sticky header by changing templates but it is still there.

Dark themes are kinda what emo and hacker wanna be teenagers use. The Header though is spectacular.
I'd say to post more often. Nothing much you can do there if not changing the BG to something more appealing and spread it, spread it!
I like the new header. What theme are you using?
I will upload a couple screenshots.

This is mobile view.

And this is the desktop view (still from my tab). From these two images, there is a blank space covering a considerable percentage of the site. It appeared when I scrolled down. It covers almost half of my tab screen (on portrait orientation).
I think you should adjust this one. :)
It's looking much better from when I last looked at it. (Viewing from a 1280p screen)
It's just my opinions, so don't feel pressured to follow whatever ideas I might pass on with my thoughts.

In this particular picture, I like how the content portion stands out with it's orange colour. It makes for a good contrast - I wouldn't mind if all the following pictures next to the content were warm but colorful like this. This first screen made me feel like going ahead and reading what you've got. But as I went down, I lost interest. Let me show you what I mean:

Now this is a little bit bland - dark and white, a sort of negative contrast from the solid professional looking initial screen up top. It just feels bland and I'm not sure if just a more colorful picture alone would be enough to create that atmosphere I was hit with initially.
I know how important empty spaces are, but I'd like there to be a little more than just dark grey on the sides even if the picture next to the content was colorful. Something like a blurry background image that's not distracting but rather there just to follow up with the atmosphere from the upper screen. Not even this what I suggested, but something, with the main goal being getting that first screen atmosphere throughout the whole site, not just the one place I inevitably have to scroll away from. Maybe have that first blue'ish forest as a blurred image inside the dark boxes where the text is? Together with a good contrast picture, they'd make for a good start to jump in from...
Again, that's just me. I'm pretty sure my tastes are kind of different from most. I tend to not follow what other people like but rather what I myself find pleasant. Maybe there's a certain way famous bloggers design their things of which I've got no clue about hence my taste here wouldn't apply to most, or something along such possibilities....
Again, this is just my point of view... in my current mental state, lets call it that.My focus was on the words, the messages and content. I never knew colurs, spaces, pictures and even background images could be a big deal until I read from your post.
...
I like dull colours because I felt it flows with the mood of most posts. ...
...
I feel the contrast is just perfect. Too much light is not good for the eyes.
You see, people earn from content and not template. I still need you to convince me why colors, pictures and spaces are important. I want more criticism and comments about posts.
Thanks again.
Again, this is just my point of view... in my current mental state, lets call it that.
First impression, the mood the initial impression creates and meeting formed expectations, whatever they may be - that, I think, should be the focus for the site. I tend to judge before I invest myself into something. Currently, I judged by the first impression. The mood I got from that was troubling, but the way content was presented on the first screen acted like a solution. On the second screen, the mood was still the same but content was presented in a way that worked against itself in my case. It stopped being a solution to what I felt like I was going to get judging by the first screen, the first impression.
I can imagine if I was in some other state of mind, say I was overly excited about something that recently happened to me, things would be different. I might see something else on the first screen and would see content as something else likeiwse. Maybe I felt too excited and I wanted to calm down by taking time off and read not just as if I was skimming through the content in order to hope for something to spark my interest but rather as if I just felt the need to read anything at all. But that's rarely the case for me, and I actually can't imagine the initial mood from the first impression from the first screen to be something optimistic that wouldn't be related to spa or some other form of relaxation experience.
And I think one earns from the content only if people engage with the content. Chocolate might be good, but if it associates with poop, then one might skip chocolate for some time till that association dissolves and isn't reminded to them again. (this analogy might come off as passive aggressive, but please try not to make this association even though it probably is an automatic one - I mean no offense, but the analogy was fitting to that example. Again, that's not to say the site is poop, it's not, far from it, it's just the very distant association and not a direct intent that might make it come off as such)
This comes off as sarcasm. Reasoning is that content can't come off as working against itself. In the context, what I meant by saying that was that the content wasn't like a solution, it didn't work as a solution to the problem, it wasn't inviting me to find out how engaging with the content would have solved my problem that I thought I had that I think was brought forth by the atmosphere on the first screen that gave me the first impression. It's more to do with how the content is presented and not about the content itself.I want to know which "content worked against itself ". Can you be specific? Mention the title of the post so I can know which content works against itself.

Take a lottery machine or any other thing one can interact with, be it a product, another person or, say, just a beautiful pebble on the beach, what ever you can relate to best, in a casino, a mall, a party, wherever. There are many of them, they are more or less identical at their core, but one is trying so hard to be liked by you when you happen to pass by them. Have you ever been to such situation? Now take your content as an analogy, as one of those many things one can interact with. The first screen is trying so hard, but the rest are seemingly not interested in you (meaning they don't look as inviting, they might even look off-putting as the standard was set on the first screen and the rest are simply not up to that standard). They say we get a taste already by just looking at that tasty (whatever kind of food)... Unless the cake tasted god awful, no matter how tasty it looked, it's not going to make me eat it all up, but if it was even just okay, the first impression alone will (more likely) carry the whole story of me eating it all.
Oh, wow. Look at that demagoguery. It has made me completely forget how the very first impression felt like and I'm now having a whole new point of view, not sure if good for analysing purposes - demagoguery has made me see the positives of the site and ignore the bad... BUT by recalling what I've already said with that first impression still lingering around, it was the expectation from the first screen that wasn't met on the second screen. I must've scrolled to the content too fast for the first screen to "carry" me through the rest of the content, but now that I've looked at the site over and over, having seen the first screen over and over because of that, I can't get it out of my head and so it inevitably carries me through the rest of the content with less problems.
