I'm new here and wondering if anyone has experience using traffic exchanges like HitLeap, ArmyBot, etc. I've been trying to use them on PTP sites and URL shorteners like shorte.st but with very little success.

Is there something I'm missing?

As far as I know most PTP dont allowed autosurf such as Hitleap.

URL Shortener mostly had skip ad button and need to be clicked to earn.

You can monetize your site use autosurf with this method:
Register on a-ads and put their banner on your site. If you can get big traffic for autosurf site its also can help increase your site alexa ranks.

I dont think it helps alexa rank. if anything i think it hurts your rank. Using traffic exchanges on sites like a-ads is a good way to get banned. They are just to smart. You may get away with 1 payment but they will catch on. I would feed in real traffic with their bots if I were to try it.
If you are sending them a lot of traffic with no conversions, thats a big red flag.

I believe that most traffic exchanges frown up these shortening link sites, Ive tried a few of those shortening link sites in the past and to me they are very shady, I know I hate clicking one of those links having to wait 30 seconds and finally getting to see the site I wanted to see at first click.

Ive never heard of Shorte.st so asked google, and the first thing that appeared was "SHORTE.ST is a malicious website that has been classified as browser hijacker and adware"

That is probably why traffic exchanges dont like them

I also used shorte.st for a while but i couldn't continue using cos lots of traffics I directed to it got pissed off of the ads or durations it took to get to the main subject and I guess this is applicable to most shortening sites

Most of traffic exchanges, especially free ones, are easy to detect. That will give you ban from all advertisers or similar networks since nobody wants fake traffic.

I have not try to get traffics to any URL shortening sites from traffic exchangers. Do you at least two or three legit ones with real traffics?

Junk traffic is also known as traffic exchange. If you are using easyhit4u than you have earn 1 point by staying twenty second on that site. One point means one visitor. If you stay here for more than hours than definitely you can get hundreds of visitors from here.

There are still few PTP sites where you can use your hitleap and other traffic exchanger but nowadays they rather use it to a-ads and some they're able to do something to filter the traffic that was sent from TE's

If you want to make huge money, avoid TE's because the only way to monetize TE's is to earn small profit

The reason why traffic exchanges don't accept link shortens is because it would spam up their sites too much. You get paid for every click so this would be a very easy way to make a lot of money. So that's why it's tricky because shorte.st pays you for every click so they want high quality traffic not just blank hits.

Anyone who has a website can make quite a bit of money using this site, I recently started to look into setting up some short links on my website and see what happens :)

It takes time and some insight to use them properly.
You need to have a catchy heading and only promote legit programs that pay.
I have received hundreds of referrals from traffic exchanges so clearly they work and are not a waste of time if you know or learn how to do it right.

What you promoted on traffic exchanges ? making money online offers, bizz opp ? You got referrals but they generate sales or are from 3 world country? Can you give some examples for legit traffic exchanges ? i know only about easyhits4u.
