I've been thinking of dedicating a few minutes a day to earning bing search credits. You can ear about 30credits daily (I think more, depends on how much time you want to spend on it) and when you get to 525 you can get a 5$ amazon gift card?

It will only be a matter of time before Bing gets up there. They are right behind Google at the moment as one of the most popularly used search engines and they have only been around for a few years. Being that they are owned by Microsoft, I think that that will also push it better if Microsoft actually gets their game on and advances a bit more. Right now Google is in the lead for Internet but they are pushing into the technology realm and Microsoft is the leader in technology while moving into the internet realm. They are both giants in the industry and are quickly becoming major competitors against one another.
Microsoft is a massive company, but it's still tough to see Bing gaining any real traction as long as google still exists. Google is just so synonymous with search engine that it's nearly impossible for anyone else to get anywhere near there popularity. That said, even if Bing can get a 20% market share, that is still a ton of people using their search engine.

Some people have bots for bing, which I never understood. It literally takes a minute to complete enough searches for the day. I guess they have multiple accounts, but even then, it only takes a very small amount of time for each account.
Because with bots, it only takes one or two clicks. Plus like you said, there are people with multiple accounts so the time does add up. Bing doesn't allow the use of bots or VPNs though... everytime those people use bots, they risk being banned when they redeem.

There are some people (like myself) who do a TON of searches per day. I get paid to write and so I spend a massive amount of time researching stuff on the net. I use Bing so that I can rack up those points for stuff. I am not sure what you mean about the bots, can you elaborate? Are you saying that there are bots that do searches for people for the points?

A bot is just a program someone who knows how to code can write to do any type of computer task for them. I'm pretty sure there are already ones out there than anyone can download. In this case, someone would create a bot to complete searches from them on bing. You get points for every two searches on bing and then you can redeem those points for giftcards.

It definitely would be nice to just have a bot complete the searches with one click. As you mention, it just doesn't seem worth the risk of being banned, especially considering it seriously takes less then 30 seconds to click through the popular searches they show on the homepage. Also, many people already will search things throughout the day and most would easily search enough to complete the daily requirements.

Although if they have 40+ accounts, I guess losing 2-3 accounts and saving maybe an hour a month is worth it to them. I personally would never do it, but I can see it being helpful to those who are just in for the cash.

How does one get away with having 40 accounts? I would imagine Microsoft would ban known VPN IPs. If someone is able to run 40 accounts, that certainly changes my take on bots. I definitely see why a bot would be useful if you have that many accounts. I just couldn't image someone being able to hold that many accounts. I've always heard Microsoft of being really strict about that. I've never heard of anyone having more than a couple of accounts active.

I just got another $5 gift card guys. :) If you haven't joined the site yet, I really recommend it. It's only taking me 2 months to get a $5 gift card.

Also guys, I don't recommend having more than one account. It's just being dishonest, not to mention you'll probably be banned. I understand that people want and need money, but cheating companies isn't the way to do it.

This is a good reminder to me, thanks. I have been thinking of that rewards from Bing but I always forget about it. Just a while ago, I was searching for places in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia because we have a trip there on Friday. And you can guess that I used Google. It was a habit already. Anyway, I will check on the Bing rewards and how to go about it. Also, I have to include Bing in my favorites list.

It's a great search engine that pays for your regular searches. However, it is a sad fact that they are limited to few countries.

I hope someday they go international.

I never heard of this program. Oddly enough, I normally search on Bing all the time anyway. Anyhow, it's a pretty good marketing idea. They must do this thing because how else could they possibly even challenge Google in searches? Oh, by the way, in what other ways could a search engine could generate publicity? Maybe they could use TV, newspaper, and radio ads.

I use Bing mainly for getting points for the Bing points system which is actually not that bad. The problem with Bing rewards is that it does not give you points for every single time you search something. It only gives you points for certain keywords each time you search. These keywords would be something relating to an event or a certain item that you would have to look up for points. The rewards you earn from Bing are small but are very good to earn if you want some extra cash for things that you want to buy.

Yes, I use Bing. But Bing Rewards is not for me. I rooted for this rewards program, but Bing Rewards only works for American users. I am looking forward that they will extend their rewards program for international users.

I don' t use bing and as it is I won't ever benefit from this rewards program. This program is eligible only for those residing in the U.S unfortunately.

Bing rewards are just not for me. I know some who use bing. I am not eligible to receive those rewards. It is only for those in the US.

Yeah. I hope they will open for non-American users as well. Or maybe, Google should create Google Rewards like Bing does.

I think Google won't be doing a Google Rewards sort of thing anytime soon, unless maybe if they fall out of the competition. They are the no.1 rank search engine and almost all people used their services. Bing Search is doing it to attract more users and to get passed Google, I think.
