Currently, people use DogeCoins for tipping people, it's a way of saying "thank you" online. The creator of DogeCoins is actually from Portland and the idea started out in a very random way. But basically, he bought DogeCoin.com and then from there everything was history. Right now, it's the seventh largest cryptocurrency and still growing.

As far as malware with cryptocurrencies, yes, that's the downside of it all. But knowing which sites to trust can save you some time and effort. Of course, you would need thorough research before trying out sites like this. With some research though, this site seems legit. A lot of users seem to like it and have earned some DogeCoins from it.

Of course DogeCoins aren't that popular yet and you won't find a lot of use for them. But maybe in a few years they will have more available websites to be connected with.

Actually, you can trade it on an exchange for Bitcoins as well. Dogecoin was actually more popular about a year and a half ago, gaining traction after sponsoring a nascar driver (google "dogecar").

Dogecoin is more popular then many other cryptocurrencies. I think that mainly reason for any low cost cryptocurrencies is prediction that they can be more expensive in future. In your dogecoin example point is simple. You can collect hundreds of dogecoins pretty easy. If that currency explode and become more expense in future, you will become rich. Don't forget that bitcoin passed same way

Thanks so much for providing this information some of my friends earn bitcoins so its familiar to me, doge is something new to be introduced, well 1000 doge worth 2.06$ is it can drop? I mean the worth of 1000 doge can be raise or down?

Price of every currency can raise on drop. We cannot predict that.
If I remember good, BTC price when that currency started was 1 BTC = 0.1$. Today 1 BTC worth over 3000$
In above conversion you can see that 1 doge is equal to 46 satoshi. So difference is instead you collect satoshi, you can collect thousands of doge coins. If doge explode on market, like btc, that can make you rich in future, if price go down, or doge disappear as a currency, you just lose some of your time, nothing else
