UserCrowd was rebranded not long ago. The company changed their name from UsibilityHub to UserCrowd. When they did this it seems that the site now has more tests that you can take. This is an international website and anyone can join. Here you will be doing really short user tests on websites or even apps. They can even ask you for your opinion on different logos or other types of information a developer is looking for the opinion from the public.

How Does it Work?
  • Like all sites, you must first join.
  • Here you can only join with your email address and password.
  • The site will ask you several questions regarding your age, your country, and what languages you speak.
  • They will also make you verify our phone number. You must enter your phone number and they will send you an SMS with a verification code. Before you can finish the sign-up process you must enter this code.
  • The site will verify your time zone and set this up for you.
  • They will also want to know how many hours you work on your computer each day.
  • They ask you if you want to set up your push notifications on the site.
  • This is a really good idea. If you have them turned on you can receive notifications of a new test that is available for you to take.
How Do The Tests Work?
  • The tests are super simple and easy to take. You don't need a screen recorder or even a microphone to take the tests. They are all done in your web browser.
  • The company can show you a website for a few seconds. After this, they will give you a few questions to answer. The questions are simple and deal with what you remember about the website you just saw.
  • Normally, it takes less than a minute to take the test and give your feedback.
  • You can also be shown a logo or a set of logos and asked which one you like better. You must give your feedback and tell them why you like this one.
  • You'll earn points for each test that you take. The test points are 1 to 5 points for the tests.
How Are You Paid?
  • The company uses PayPal to pay you with.
  • You'll need $10 in your account before you can request your payment.
  • Each point you earn on the site is equal to $0.10.
  • You can earn $0.10 to $0.50 for each test that you take.
  • You need to request your payment from the company.
  • It normally takes 30 days to process your payment.
The site has improved since it rebranded. However, what I don't like is how long it takes to be paid by the company.

Has anyone joined this site and how do you like it since it was rebranded?

unless you are always on your laptop. Maybe for those who are
working daily feom their laptop, they can monitor the task being sent by usability hub.
You can still monitor your account on mobile you just really need to open the site every minute it might drain your battery and consume lots of data. hehe

It is not a good idea lol, and I still need to spend time to other site I am working like here on bmf, so I cannot check the site every minute.

Yes, that's the only disadvantage if you use a mobile unlike using a laptop even if your account is closed they still send you a notification.

yeah, that is why i just stopped visiting their site. But if ever I will be working on my laptop the whole day, I will surely comeback on usability hub.

Checking the site every minute will be too much effort and it will drain your energy and concentration, not a good alternative to work on the phone for sure.

Yup, that is why they are best done on laptop coz even on idle mode, they will notify you whenever there is new
task available. But still hoping for the day that they will provide app for mobile users.

I'm so happy because I just received earlier 4 credits for one task, on my way to two dollars. Credits are always increasing if you always working for them.

conrats on your progress! it ids good to be paid with very easy task like on usabilitu hub. You still need more , but i think a month or 2 is enough.

I think it's a good idea that they send task notifications. Too bad, I am on my iPad most of the time. I think usability hub is a potential site to register for in case one has some free time. For now, I am too occupied with other things.

It's great to know that they are increasing the credits for some tests, I haven't received any test that pays 4 credit though, they've just changed their website's design, seems like they're working to make the site better.

They have lowered it to $10 which is 100 credits, the good news is they are increasing credits for some tasks, I've done some that reward 2 credits and there is someone who've just got a test of 4 credits.

It was used to be 200(20$) credits but months ago they have lowered the minimum cash out to 100(10$) credits, but they also decreased the number of task that is being sent for every member.

Really? I wasn't on the site when the payout threshold was $20. Seems like that doesn't make us reach payment any faster. Maybe they don't have many tasks back then, that's why they decided to decrease the threshold.

Glad to know that the site has lowered the payment threshold, @kaka135.
I should work on this site for fun and some little penny. What kinds of the tasks are offered by the site usually?

Mostly they will show you website interfaces/ designs and ask your opinion about them such as which design you prefer, or could you detect the key message that they want to emphasize, etc.

I saw these kind of jobs before even at Crowdflowers if not mistaken, does this kind of opinion seeking tasks really easy to handle with? If yes, I don't mind to share my opinion although my art sense is not strong as those artist.

The design and interfaces are for users/ customers, that's why they need your view, not some artistic view here :D so just give them your most honest opinion/ feedback.
