My favorite are google and wolfram alpha. Google in case of general queries and the wolfram alpha for say any math and science specific query. Both of them have very quality replies. For academic level search result, I guess it'd be worth having the search queries through wolfram alpha and other similar search engine. You can find that other searhc engines dont have that much good results in such case.

Ah, anybody remembers the days before Google came along? When we were all typing away on the Yahoo Search and Bing? :p

I can admit that I only use Google. No other search engine, why? because Google gives me everything that I need. It is fast, accurate, great search results, it's safe and highly optimized for every phone device.

Right now, I only use Google for searching because of more relevant search answers. Bing follows, while I stopped using Yahoo. But if you want your website to rank higher in search engines, Google and Bing works well. I am not good at SEO but some of my friends do.

I still use Google, however looking for an alternative search engine to get best results instead of reading those long tail articles that are ranked top.

Prior to Google I was using Yahoo and Bing. I have to agree that at that time I was quite satisfied with those search engines. Nowadays I use mostly Google and it works wonderfully. I find more relevant answers when using Google. I also find that it loads faster than the other search engines.

I always think to search in google but never tried out other search engines yoy listed in.

Google is all time favorite for most of the users. As justice mentioned, it gives everything whatever we look for.

Thanks!

I will say it is Google. I get the latest from it. When I type a certain name to search, it gives me the latest about it. when I am doing it at Yahoo, it gives me the general results, mostly those what posted at Wikipedia. Google is lot useful for me than any kind of search engine. It gives good results and top results which I can use for my research.

Google is obviously the best. Second most I love is the Yahoo.
As for Google, it's really good for people to get indexed, running blogs or sites considering myself in.

The most hated for me is the Bing tbh, I just don't know really that it's way of showing up results is annoying and even the searching material compared to Google & Yahoo.

I started with Yahoo when I was new to the internet and gone into Google. Now looking to use Yahoo again as they are ending some traffic to my sites.
Goole have some best results in most time, while yahoo shows indifferently results that doesn't match against keywords.

My favorite search engine is Google. Why do I prefer Google over all others ? Its because of the precise results they give. I have tried Bing and its not bad but the results are no way near Google's. I haven't used Yahoo search in a long time and DuckDuckGo as well but I have read many good stuff about DuckDuckGo

Google is my favorite.Never heard of the search engines after number 7 ( except for webcrawler). But why care about other search engines, who even use a search engine beside google these days

In my opinion DuckDuckGo is good but we used to use Google because it's old, big company and comfortable. Also I heard that DuckDuckGo doesn't track you although Google does the opposite as I heard.
Yeah its true that DuckDuckGo does not track you.I tried them before and they are really good. You could additionally use TOR browser to help you stay anonymous.

Yes, it's recommended to use it while using TOR in addition to TOR search engines.
