The 1 Dollar Thing Review – SCAM or LEGIT?

Posted on

The 1 Dollar Thing is owned and operated by Doc Lett or otherwise known as Kenneth Lett. He started his first MLM online business back in 2012 when he opened a company called Phase 4 Global. In 2015 he opened his second MLM company called 2×2. Again in 2016, he opened yet another MLM company called Iguana Biz. This company didn’t do so well, so he tried again in 2017 and opened this company called The 1 Dollar Thing. The latest MLM scheme is an affiliate marketing scheme that uses a 3×6 matrix to attract affiliates to the network. What is so attractive about this company is the fact it only cost you $1 to join.

How Does The 1 Dollar Thing Program Work?

In theory, you don’t have any products to sell in order to earn a commission each month. The system is a program that uses a pattern of pyramiding in order for a person to earn money. In this type of scheme, you don’t require any skills in order to join. The program only cost $1 a month, plus admin fees. The company will provide you with all your material that is needed to market this affiliate program. The reason so many people are attracted to this program is the low monthly cost and the promise to earn $7000 a month or as much as $85,000 a year when they get other affiliates to join the program under them.

What Do You Market for The 1 Dollar Thing?

You are marketing an affiliate membership that will give you certain benefits each month. You’ll receive:

  • A monthly subscription to their magazine called The Small Business Magazine.
  • They offer you different money saving coupons for travel, attractions you can visit, and different recreations you can enjoy.
  • The site also has health benefits that are attractive where you can save 90% on your prescriptions, vision care, dental care, hearing aids, and your lab tests.
  • Furthermore, you will receive other types of money saving products when you purchase them through their wholesaler.

How Do You Make Money from The 1 Dollar Thing Review?

This is a 3 level pyramid scheme where you start off at the first level and buy your way up to the third level.

Level 1 – Basic Level

The first level will cost you $1 a month and a $2 admin fee. You’ll spend $14 for the year. At this level, they will give you a 1-year subscription to their magazine. So how can you make money here? This is a 3×6 matrix that will net you $131.04 each month.

  • You are at the top of the pyramid and there are 3 people who are directly under you.
  • The second level has 9 positions directly under the first level of the pyramid.
  • As the pyramid grows, so does the number of positions in each level.
  • By the time you reach the 6th level in the pyramid, there are 1092 positions.
  • The company talks you into investing the commission that you’ve earned and created a new pyramid at the next level.

Level 2 – Emerald Level

This level will now cost you $12 a month and a $10 annual admin fee you must pay. Here you can now purchase and sell a Kiss Retail Goodbye Card. You will basically have to go around to merchants and sell them these cards in order to earn money from them.

  • In this pyramid, you’ll now earn $1,638 a month.
  • The scheme is the same and now you are building a new 3×6 matrix pyramid so that you can earn a commission selling people this affiliate opportunity.
  • Once you’ve filled the matrix and have 1092 members, the company will offer you the next level. You can use your commission that is earned at this level to invest in the next level.

Level 3 – Diamond Level

This level will now cost you $47 a month and a $10 admin fee for the year. Here you now have a new opportunity to purchase the Phase 4 Travelcard. They tell you how much money you can save booking hotels, taking your family to different theme parks and different attractions.

  • You have already built 2 3×6 matrix pyramids and now need to work on your third.
  • This works the same as the previous 2 levels.
  • At this level, you can now earn $5,460 a month provided you can fill up the 1092 spaces in your matrix.

As you can see this will only work if more and more people join the affiliate program. If you can get any new members to join, the money will dry up and you’ll no longer be paid. The company is paying you from the revenue it gets from the new member that join this program. Programs like this collapse and dry up sooner or later and you are left with nothing at all. You’ll still need to spend the money to keep your level running, but you won’t be getting any return on your investment. Only the person who has created this scheme will be making money from all the people you got to join the affiliate program.

Beware, this program is currently being advertised all over Facebook and a few other social media sites. Stay away from this program and don’t join. You’ll only be wasting your time and throwing your money in the trash. These types of programs never work for very long and most of them don’t work at all.
