FreeBitco.in Review – SCAM or PAYING?

Posted on

Once you sign up for Freebitco.in, you receive a confirmation email and an email that gives you your login information. In that second email, an accurate description of this site is stated as:

“ Freebitco.in is a simple dice game that makes bitcoin gambling a breeze. Earn Free BTC, Multiply BTC by 4,750X, participate in exciting contests, earn interest on your bitcoin deposits and win amazing rewards”.

Once you manage to set up your login profile and a password, you are automatically directed to the CONTEST page where you are presented with the opportunity to play a lottery game and there is an odds chart provided. You may play with or without solving the CAPTCHA, but playing without solving the CAPTCHA will cost you 1 point. After clicking on “I am not a robot”, you can click on “ROLL” in order to start the game.

After your first roll, you are presented with the opportunity to multiple bitcoin up to 4750 times your winnings. Clicking on the pop-up that appears will take you to the HI-LO game on the MULTIPLY BTC page. Here you have the option of depositing or withdrawing Bitcoin, but you do not have to do this at this time and simply place bets on what looks like a slot machine as to whether you think the number will appear to be either higher than 5250 or lower 4750. There are multiple options of betting and this function of the website is like playing a casino game if that is your thing.

If you are not into gambling, you can head to the FREE BTC page and every hour you can earn free bitcoin. This amount of Bitcoin that you earn is minuscule, so it would take a long time to earn anything significant. But if you are patient and set the alarm that is provided, you can earn .00000052 BTC every hour with just a click and while you are waiting, you can head on over to the MULTIPLY BTC page to wager your free earnings if you wish.

This free Bitcoin is supposedly the result of newly mined Bitcoin and I can not verify if it is true or not. They do assign you a Bitcoin wallet address so that you can store your winnings and earn 4.08% annual interest on those winnings. You also can earn an extra 25% referral commissions on any interest earned by your referrals. All these details can be found on the EARN BTC or FAQ page.

Is this site legitimate? I think it would take a while to determine so that you could build up some BTC and send it to your own personal hardware or software wallet in order to see if the actual transfer takes place. If it does, I don’t see any harm in spending time on this site. I personally would not deposit my own Bitcoin in order to play the lottery game. But once you have been on the site for a while and have verified that you do indeed win free Bitcoin, than it’s up to you whether or not you wish to gamble it.
