How to make money with LinkedIn

Want to make money with LinkedIn? That sounds crazy to some but that’s a fact. World’s most professional site with more than 500 million members let you make big money if you know how to do it! You read me right you can earn working with LinkedIn better than other social media sites like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

As a professional I have several ways to earn money from LinkedIn including my chances of getting a better job being part of the 500 million professionals, some of them (including top 500 on Forbes’ list) spend their free time going through various profiles of their interest.
Let me make it clear at this point that as a corporate professional I have been using LinkedIn for a long time and most people think it’s a professional site where one can upload his professional profile and remain in touch with likeminded people and professionals.

Referral Program
I have earned a lot of money through referral programs since my industry has a referral program in place so every time I managed to bring a professional join through my referral link I got paid a handsome amount. Online recruiters, HR managers and even fellow LinkedIn members keep a close watch on site’s members and see it as an earning opportunity.

Incidentally, LinkedIn has added a feature that allows you to indicate whether you allowed recruiters to search your profile or stay away from them. By the way, contacting members with an offer without their consent and if a member reported it the chances are your profile will be blocked.

Use LinkedIn as perfect sharing media
But that is not the only way of earning money from LinkedIn but freelancers have their own quota from this professional site too. I know most of you think Facebook, Twitter and Instagram beside other social media sites bring good results for you but that’s because you never knew that LinkedIn works better than all of these social media site put together.

That’s true but there is another fact which is not known to most of its users or they are too busy with their professional activities. Are you aware of the fact that out of LinkedIn’s 500 million members less than 1% or roughly 4 million have ever used it for sharing their content on LinkedIn?

Do you even know that as a member of this elite professional website you have the advantage of sharing your work directly and indirectly with millions? Yes, you can write articles on different topics or even share your link through sharing buttons available on the blogging sites provided you have an account there.

The fact is LinkedIn is grossly ignored by freelancers since most of them did not know what they can do with this site which could well be a strong marketing tool for freelancers. You must explorer the power of professional networking which is not limited to advancement of your job possibilities but gives you an opportunity for lots of challenges in different fields.
