Best Tools for Web Analytics?

There are a lot of online tools you can use to analyze a website, and they can be used for a lot of things, especially SEO and loading speed checking. Here are the ones I've heard most people use:
  • Google PageSpeed Insights: This is most people's go-to tool to analyze your website's speed and see what the causes are. It checks a lot of things, like loading time (and gives you possible causes), font readability on mobile devices, code optimization, image size and a lot more. These parameters influence your website's final score (there's a score for desktop and another one for mobile), which also influences how high your site will rank in search results.
  • Hubspot's Website Grader: Similar to PageSpeed Insights, but it bundles page speed and responsiveness with SEO ranks and security check (SSL certificates and the likes). When it comes down to website ranking, trying different analyzing tools is fundamental, and this one is free, so why not?
  • Google Analytics: You'll need to implement this into your website to make it work, but then all data will be displayed online, so I think it can be classified as a web tool. Google Analytics is great to get infos about your visitors, like daily visits (there's also a live counter), time spent browsing the website, visitors demographics, interactions with socials and much more. This is a great tool to check what content your visitors like the most, and this will help you greatly to improve your website's quality.
  • SERPs.com: Great website to check your SEO rank (not 100% accurate, but it definitely gives you an idea of how well your website is scoring). Just insert the domain you want to check, the keywords it's related to, the search engine it will be analyzed from (currently just Google and Yahoo) and, if you want, a location, and it will give you useful information you can use to get your website higher into search results.
  • Google Search Console: Yep, another Google tool. This will help looking into more strictly domain-related issues, and you should look into it if using the previous tools has not helped you improving your search engine rank. This is useful to give you a search engine point of view.
  • DomainTool: DomainTools offers a lot of great useful services, especially related to security: for example, there's Brand Protection (looks for copyright infringements) or Online Freud Investigation (helps you with digital piracy and ad network freud). However, most of them are payed, but you can request a free trial.
You can still use their Whois service for free, though. It's useful to check if a domain is registered or not (and, if it isn't, it gives you a list of sites you could buy it from) or to see more informations about a domain, like which server it's hosted on, the name of the domain registerer and so on.
Use this before registering any domain (see if there are any other websites with similar names, or you might run into some trouble).

Google is probably the #1 player on field of web analysis.Good thing about Google is it is free to use. However, there are also many alternatives to Googles web analysis.

Google Web Analysis Tools

Tag Manager: You don't have to wait for site code updates, if you use Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytic: Presents comprehensive report on traffic demography, traffic location, traffic source, device used etc.

Page Speed: Analyze the sped of your website. If the result is less that 100 percent, it also recommends ways to fix it.

Google Search Console: delivers accurate search query report, provides report on clicks, impressions and other search data.

Analytical tools other than Google

Clicky: Provides on-site analytic, can be accessed via handheld device because it is flash free, offers uptime monitoring. If your website gets less than 3000 daily views, it is free.

Mint: It is almost like Google Analytic. Gives data on unique page views, easy to customize. You can have this for $30 (one time fee)

Open Web Analytic: if your website uses wordpress or MediaWiki, this tool provides built-in-installs. You can host the tool on your own webserver, you can have control over your data. Absolutely free as long as you host on your server.

Woopra: Collect customer data and sends notifications on customer activity.Woopra has a mobile app and you can use this tool on your website via app.It is free as long as you are limited to 30,000 actions (customers' activity).

Piwik and Google analytics are the only two free that are pretty accurate and more stronger. There is also woopra and few other premium but being paid applications I don't think it's worth recommending them. It is also a bit hard to make use of the premium tools from adobe for analytics as there seems to be lot subscription fees plus they are kind of new to this.

I have been using wordpress for some time right now and I think you are not going to need any other tool apart from the Google analytics. There is a lot of other platforms that can be able to give you all the insides but I think Google analytics data is usually very well detailed and as such it is only software that you are going to need for a starting.

There are a number of great tools for web analytics, but some of the most popular ones include Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics is a free tool that provides a wealth of data about website traffic, engagement, and conversions. Adobe Analytics is a paid tool that offers similar features, but with more advanced customization options.

There are several great tools for web analytics, but Google Analytics is definitely the most popular option. It's free to use, and it provides a wealth of data on website traffic, including sources of traffic, pageviews, conversion rates, and more.

An open-source web analytics tool called Matomo has features that are comparable to those of Google Analytics, but it also lets users host data on their own servers for better security and privacy. It offers features for GDPR compliance, real-time analytics, and customizable reports.

Some of the best tools for web analytics include:

1. Google Analytics: Offers comprehensive insights into website traffic, user behavior, and conversions.
2. Adobe Analytics: Provides advanced analytics and reporting capabilities for large enterprises.
3. Mixpanel: Focuses on user-centric analytics, offering insights into user engagement and retention.
